久々に、心は青年教師に戻る

昨日はホテル・メトロポリタンで高商吹奏楽部創立６０周年記念祝賀会が開かれ、スピーチもありました。

「音楽とは、楽譜通りに演奏できれば目的達成でなく、人間の喜び、深い悲しみ、辛さ、情熱など感情を音を媒介にしてを聴き手に伝えるもの」と平素考えてることの一端を述べました。教え子の女性たちも４０代後半から５０代後半となり、二次会まで行きワイワイ交流し、久々に私も青春に戻れました。

Yesterday we had a party in celebration of 60th anniversary of Takasaki High School of Commerce wind orchestra division at the hotel Metropolitan. And in a speech, I described a part of what I was thinking in daily life. "Music is not accomplished if we can play according to the score, but we need to express human's joy, deep sadness, bitterness, passion by means of sound, then we should communicate feelings to the listener". Women of my students became late 40s to late 50s, we went to the second party in a lot of joy so that I was able to return to adolescence after a long interval.
