紅葉が始まる

写真は赤城山の小沼です。ここの標高は１４５０mで、湖沼として県内で最も高所に位置します。秋は紅葉が素晴らしく、一見に値します。冬季は氷が張り詰めます。左に見える長七郎の山頂からは年間を通じて東京の高層ビル群が見え、特に１月には太陽の方角と同じになることから東京湾が見えます。つまり、海なし県の群馬から海が見えるのです。

The picture is a small lake named Konuma in Mt. Akagi. The altitude here is 1,450m and it is located at the highest altitude in Gumma prefecture as a lake. Autumn leaves here are marvelous beyond description, it is really worth seeing. The lake is filled with a tense Ice in winter. From the summit of Mt. Choshichiro that is visible on the left, you can see the skyscrapers in Tokyo throughout the year. Especially in January we can see the Tokyo Bay because it is the same direction as the sun. To sum up, Tokyo Bay is visible from Gumma prefecture where is without sea.
