植物購入時、蕾で買わず、開花の色彩を確認して

　亡父が５０年以上前に植えた八重桜が満開になりました。植えた人はすでにこの世にいなくても、その後、毎年きれいに咲くのですから不思議なことです。この八重桜はサクランボの実のように花が枝からぶる下がり、下向きに咲いてます。ですから、花を下から見ると、きれいです。

　また、ご覧の通り、白と薄いピンクの花が混ざってます。おそらく父がどこかで開花を確認して、色彩に魅力を感じて手に入れたのでしょう。植物を買う場合、私もこの方法を守ってます。蕾のとき買うと、咲いてからがっかりすることがあります。

 The double cherry blossoms that my late father planted over 50 years ago are in full bloom now. It is marvelous and miraculous that even if my father is not in this world, it blooms beautifully every year. The flowers of this double cherry blossom hang down from the branches like the berries of cherry and bloom downward. Therefore, it is beautiful to see the flowers from below.

 On the other hand, as you see, white and light pink flowers are mixed so that it is a bicolored cherry. Perhaps my father confirmed the flowering somewhere because he was fascinated by the beauty of colors. I follow this method when buying plants.
