品種により開花時期がずれるシャクナゲ

　西洋シャクナゲ大輪は昨日の雨で大分花弁が落ちましたが、枝の一部には未だ蕾があるので暫く楽しめそうです。他のシャクナゲは太陽と言う品種がこれからで、たぶん５月になると想います。これは真っ赤です。

　この他、フィリスコーンという品種のクリーム色の西洋シャクナゲも今月下旬から開花です。このようにシャクナゲは品種によって開花時期が異なり、観賞者としては結構長い期間、花を楽しめます。明日頃から赤紫の藤が咲き出しそうです。ぜひ見にいらしてください。
