生活廃品を分別できる人は分別ある人

　今日は午前１０時から私の家の前の集会所で「ラジオ体操参加者の集い」が行われます。この会にはラジオ体操指導員の資格を持つ方がいて、彼は２年ほど前、ブラジルへ行って現地のラジオ体操愛好家の日系二世三世の方々と交流してこられました。その話を拝聴したり、会員相互の親睦を図ります。

　毎朝のラジオ体操の会場へは５００ｍほど歩いて行きますが、今日は近いです。最近、私は身体が柔軟になってます。足を幾分か広げて行なってます。精神にも柔軟性が生れればいいのですが。

 Today, at 10 o'clock, a "Radio gymnastics gathering" will be held at the meeting place in front of my yard. There is a person who is qualified as a radio gymnastics instructor. He went to Brazil about two years ago to interact with local radio gymnastics enthusiasts of the 2nd and 3rd generations of Japanese descent. We will listen to his story and promote mutual friendship among the members.

 I walk about 500m to the radio gymnastics place every morning, but today it is convenient. Recently, my body seems to be flexible. I'm doing it with my legs spread a little. I hope that the spirit will also be flexible.

　一方、昨日は地区の廃品回収の日で、軽トラで集めた各家庭からの段ボール、新聞紙や雑誌、ベットボトルを公園で分別し、業者に渡しました。地区役員として私もこの作業に従事しました。使用済みのものでも、分別することで再度資源になります。これからの社会は再生エネルギーの利用、再生可能なものを有効利用することで循環型社会になります。分別できる人は分別ある人です。

 Today is the day of waste collection in the district which are cardboard, old newspapers, magazines, non-burnable trashes, pet bottles etc. We collect them by light truck from each household, and sorted it at the park and handed to the dealer concerned. As a district officer, I will also involve in this task. Even if it is used, it can be used as a resource again by sorting it. The future society will become a recycling community by making effective use of renewable energy. A person who can sort or classify is a person who is discreet.
