春～夏～秋に咲き続けるハイビスカス

　サルスベリは百日紅とも書き、確かに７月中旬から先日まで１００日咲き続け、長い期間と思いました。ところが、驚くことに一度枯れ始めたハイビスカスが５月に咲き始めて今日まで未だ咲いています。実に１８０日間も咲き続けています。

　春に化成肥料を施したら小さい木でしたが、ぐんぐん成長し、樹高も１ｍほどになりました。肥料がこの樹木に合っていたようです。しかも、２本もあります。今度は萎れさせないように温かな場所で冬を過ごさせます。
