荒海を進むような荒船山・・・妙義山から撮影

　今日は予定通り、群馬県の名所・妙義の中乃岳にドライブを兼ね紅葉を見に行きました。駐車場の標高は推定９００ｍ程なので気温は平地より８度ほど低く、かなり寒かったです。写真は西南に見えるテーブルマウンテン「荒船山」です。高崎で見るより近くに見えます。

　以前に、「荒船山」の平らに見える位置より左の高い山の頂上から数羽のレース鳩を放したことが思い出されました。鳩たちはおそらく、この妙義山上空を通過し、無事に倉賀野まで帰りました。妙義山の紅葉の印象については明日ブログに書きたいと思います。

 Today, as scheduled, I went to see the autumn leaves by car at Nakanotake in Mt. Myogi in Gumma prefecture. The altitude of the parking lot is estimated to be about 900m, so it was about 8 degrees Celsius lower than the flat ground and it was quite cold. The photo is the table mountain "Mt. Arafune" in the southwest seeing at Mt. Myogi. It looks closer than seeing from Takasaki-city.

 I remembered that I released a few racing pigeons previously from the summit of the higher mountain to the left of the flat-looking position of Mt. Arafune. The pigeons probably passed over Mt. Myogi and returned safely to Kuragano. I will write about the impression of the autumn tints of Mt. Myogi on my blog tomorrow.
