地球に接近中の火星がよく見える

　外は少し寒いですが、今宵も南南東から南の空に橙色した火星がはっきり見え、光の強さから火星と地球が接近していることが分かります。これは太陽～地球～火星の順でほぼ一直線に並んでいることになります。

　逆に火星が太陽の方角にあるときは地球と火星が最も離れてます。このときは昼間なので見ることはできません。

　それにしても今宵はよく晴れてるので火星を見る絶好のチャンスです。地球も火星も他の惑星も北極星側から見ると反時計回りに公転しています。
