庭に５品種の花梅が咲き出し、部屋は襖も紅白梅

　現代の家屋では珍しくなりましたが、畳８丈の部屋が二部屋続きです。襖はその中間にあり、紅白梅の大きな梅の木が描かれてます。写真ではちょっと分かり難いですが、右が紅梅、左が白梅です。

　実はこの部屋から庭を見ると、今の時期は本物の紅梅と白梅が見えます。梅の季節でなくても一年中、襖の梅は見られます。庭の品種の異なる５本の梅はすべてが咲き出してます。中でも１本の木で紅白に咲き分ける「思いのまま」は観賞に値します。今月下旬から来月中旬まで満開となり、庭には梅の香りが漂います。

　ところで、私の名前の最後の漢字は「香」です。両親も梅が好きだったのでしょう。

 Actually, if I look at the garden from this room, I can see real red and white plums at this season. Fusuma plums can be seen all year round, even if it is not in the spring. All five plums in the garden are about to bloom. Above all, "Omoinomama that literally means "as you wish" will bloom in red and white with one tree. This plum is worth to watch. All kind of plums will be in full bloom from the end of this month to the middle of next month, and the scent of plum blossoms will drift in the garden.

 By the way, the last character in my name is "incense". My parents probably liked plum blossoms too.
