貴重種の 日本シャクナゲ 保存する

　日本シャクナゲの魅力は派手さはなくとも、温かみが感じられ、色彩は人工的でなく、自然の美しさを保ってます。全体的に白を基調としても微かな赤が混ざってます。葉は緑でも、葉の裏側は黄土色してるのが特徴です。

　今ではシャクナゲと言えば、その殆どが西洋シャクナゲですが、私は日本古来から自生してる日本シャクナゲを保存するつもりで、今後もよく世話して毎年今の時季に咲かせたいと思います。

　育てる上で大切なことは、場所は半日蔭に植えます。他の植物の根がシャクナゲの根に侵入しないように工夫し、密でなく通気性ある土を使い、水はけのよい土を使うことと考えてます。

 The attractiveness of Japanese rhododendron is not flashy, but it is felt warm, and the colors are not artificial and it maintains the beauty of nature. Even if it is based on white as a whole, a slight red is mixed. Even though the leaves are green at a glance, the back side of the leaves is ocher.

 Nowadays, most of the rhododendrons are Western rhododendrons in general, but I intend to preserve the Japanese rhododendron that have grown naturally since ancient times in Japanese mountainous area, and I will take good care of them and make them bloom every year in this season.

 The important things to raise are to plant it in the half shade. We should prevent the roots of other plants from invading the roots of rhododendron, use non-dense, breathable soil, and use well-drained soil.
