ここ二日 アクセス多い 旧灌仏

　「旧灌仏は毎年必ず大安」と書いた私のブログにアクセスが多くあり驚いてます。どこかでこの内容が紹介されたのでしょう。今日は旧灌仏で釈迦の誕生日とされてます。釈迦は現在のネパールで生まれたといわれてますが、悟りを開いたのはインドのブダガヤの町です。

　若き日、インド滞在中にここを訪れましたら、大聖堂の周囲を右回りで何回も歩いてるチベット族の人たちが、伏せになって全身を伸ばす「五体投地」という拝み方を繰り返ししているには驚きました。近年のインドでは仏教徒は少なく、ヒンズー教とイスラム教徒が多かったと感じました。

 I'm surprised to see many visits to my weblog that says, "The old Buddha's birthday is always lucky day every year." This content may have been introduced somewhere. Today is the birthday of Buddha in the lunar calendar. Buddha was born in Nepal, but his enlightenment came from the town of Buddhagaya situated in central India.

 When I visited there during my stay in India in my adolescence, Tibetan people was walking around the cathedral many times in a clockwise direction, and the prostrating with lying down and stretching their whole body repeatedly. It was an impressive sight for me I felt that there were few Buddhists in India in recent years, and there were many Hindus and Muslims.
