今もなお 港の雰囲気 残る河岸跡

　故郷・倉賀野町をウォーキング中、歴史を説明する新たな看板に出合いました。倉賀野町には利根川の支流である烏川が流れています。

　この川を利用して高瀬舟が江戸と倉賀野を往復していたと伝えられてます。確かに今でも港の雰囲気が感じられます。

 While walking in Kuragano-town in Gumma prefecture, where is my hometown, I came across a new sign that explains the history of the town. The Karasu River, which is one of the tributaries of Tone River, flows through Kuragano-town.

 Allegedly, using this river, the sailed ship named Takasebune made a round trip between Edo (Tokyo) and Kuragano. Certainly, we can still now feel the atmosphere of the harbor.
