青春を 追憶させる 象の行進

　民芸品に興味がなかった私ですが、後になってみれば、きっと懐かしいインド生活の記念になると思い、２０代の私は思い切って船便でいろいろ我が家へ送りました。象が全部で何頭いるでしょう。

　すべて大きさが異なり、先の方の小さい象がよく見えませんが、黒と茶色で全部で１４頭です。飾ってある絵もインドの人たちです。この部屋はピアノ練習室でも、別名「インドの部屋」であり、象のほかにもインドの民芸品がいろいろ飾ってあります。

　人生の第４コーナーに差し掛かった今となっては、民芸品を送っておいて本当によかったと思います。

　【注】：第４コーナーの後に私には未だ第５コーナーがあります。
