１５日 今宵の月は 十五夜です

【上の写真は今日午後5時過ぎに撮りました。予想通り、左下の方が少しぼやけてます。その位置は時間とともに変わります。日本時間の深夜に見事な満月になります。】

　今年２０２２年の２月は珍しく、太陽暦と太陰太陽暦(旧暦)の日が一致してます。つまり、今日２月１５日は旧暦で１月１５日です。このため、今宵は十五夜です。

　しかし、日本でよく観察すると東の空に出る月は本当に満月でなく、ほんの少し左側(北側)が欠けてます。これが夜遅くなり、月の方角が南から西南になると、つまり、グリニッチが夕方になる頃、満月になります。

　それにしても、地球に住む人類に対し、月は決してその裏側を見せません。この理由について、私は「月の内部の質量が均一でなく、つまり、質量の重い岩石が地球側に偏っている」のではないかと推測してます。皆さんはどう考えますか。
