模様替え 思い立ったら 吉日だ！

　芸術は「変化と統一」が基本にあると言われます。また、「芸術は生活に密接であるべき」と考える私は、庭全体を一枚のキャンバスと考え、年間を通じて色彩的に変化ある花たちを育てています。

　一方、昨日は、ピアノの部屋の漆喰の壁に、ご覧の通り、2枚の絵を飾りました。その下には民族衣装を纏ったインドの人形が５０人ほど並んでます。

　絵については、左が赤城山の大沼と黒桧山で、右は若き日のインド滞在中、日曜日に自ら描いたヴィクトリア・メモリアルで、青春の証です。部屋の模様替えをするとマンネリ化した日々の心境まで変化し、楽しいものです。

　ところで、比較的隅に置いてあったピアノを、今度は前に出し、少々斜めに移動して、最近テレビで見る「駅ピアノ」のような雰囲気にし、いつもでも自由に弾けるよう配置替えを考えてます。

　たまたま、今日はお客様が見えるので、その前に早速、ピアノの位置を動かします。重たいですが、車が付いてるので可能です。

　It happens that a customer will visit here today, so I will move the position of the piano immediately before that. It's heavy, but it's possible because it has three cars.
