インドでも 雪が降ります カシミール

　写真は現在、部屋に飾ってあるインドの民芸品です。このように写真に撮ってよく見るとなかなか色彩的で、ユニークな顔です。

　昨晩のNHKニュースによると、ニューデリーでは気温が３３度ほどなので、現在はそれほど暑くないようです。７月から８月は日本の方が暑いでしょう。このため８月は夏休みではありません。夏休みは５月です。

　９月から翌年の１月頃までは日本の秋晴れのような日々が続き、日本人がインドを旅行するにはこの季節が適します。世界の屋根と言われるカシミール地方はインドでも雪が積もります。

　ここでの人々の顔つきは目と鼻が大きく、まるで作ったようです。若き日、ここでお正月を迎え、乾杯したことが懐かしいです。しかし、同行した友はすでに天に召され、悲しさの極み。
