ＩＴ化 日本語までも 横書きに

　暑い暑いと言ってる間に、もう今年もあと幾日と数えられる頃になりました。今年も残すところ１３６日です。令和４年の過ぎ去った三分の二は、どれほど自らを成長させたか甚だ疑問が残ります。

　それはそうと、ＩＴ時代にあっても日本文を「手書きすること」に努めてますが、昔のように日本文を縦書きすることがなくなり、横書きが多いです。本来、日本の文字は漢字でも平仮名でも縦書きが美しいです。また、縦書きであってこそ草書体になります。

　３４年前に他界した母の文章がたくさん残ってますが、便せんに書いてあるので、すべて縦書きの草書体で、その文字には当時の母の心境まで滲み出てます。

　その点、英文は必ず横書きですから、私は英文の筆記体の方が上手くなってしまいました。日本文の方が見難いです。これからは可能な限り、昔のように、日本文を手書きで縦書きに努めます。

Originally, Japanese characters are beautifully written vertically, whether they are kanji or hiragana. In addition, if we write vertically, it becomes cursive style.

　There are a lot of writings left by my mother who passed away 34 years ago, but because her writings were on a letter paper in vertical cursive style, and the letters ooze out my mother's feelings at the time.

　In this respect, English is always written horizontally, so I have become better at cursive writing in English. On the other hand, I am not good at Japanese sentences due to more difficult to write horizontally. From now on, as much as possible, I am intended to write Japanese sentences vertically by hand, just like in the old days.
