思い出す 吹奏楽部の 夏季合宿

　今日は8月5日です。現役時代の昔を思い出すと、この頃は高崎商業・前橋高校の吹奏楽部員５０～６０名ほどを一人で引き連れ、約１週間の合宿を毎年行いました。

　場所はいずれも山岳地帯であり、新潟県・苗場の下山山荘、草津シズカ山スキー場、万場高原荘、妙義少年自然の家、小諸青年の家、そして、写真の子持山中腹にある北毛青年の家などです。

　目的はコンクールや群馬音楽センターでの定期演奏会で、スケジュールに従い、一週間、寝食を共にし、文字通り、朝から晩まで音楽漬けの生活で、パート練習、分奏、全体合奏でした。

　それでも、夜は歓談の時間を設けたり、時には全員で山の中の川で泳いだり、近くの温泉に入ったり、レクレーションとして御荷鉾山山頂や子持山山頂に登ったこともあります。彼ら彼女らはすでに４０～６０代の社会のリーダーになってることでしょう。吹奏楽部の同窓会が楽しみです。

Dear my friends who like music and training camp

　Today is August 5th. When I think back to when I was active, I used to take 50 to 60 members of the Takasaki High School of Commerce/Maebashi High School wind orchestra club by myself for one-week training camp every year.

　The locations are all mountainous areas, including Shimoyama Sanso at Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata prefecture, Kusatsu Shizuka Mountain Ski Resort, Mamba Kogenso, Myogi Shonen natural home, Komoro Youth House, and Hokumoh Youth House on the slopes of Mt. Komochi in the photo.

　The purpose is for competitions and annual concerts at the Gumma Music Center. According to the schedule, we sleep and eat together for a week and were literally immersed in music from morning till night, such as part practice, several part playing, and full ensemble.

　Even so, we set up the time for chatting together at night, sometimes went to swimming in a river, and bathe at a nearby hot spring together, and even climbed Mt. Mikaboko and Mt. Komochi for recreation. They will have already become leaders of society in their 40s to 60s. I'm looking forward to hold the club reunion.
