停戦の 道筋すらなし ますます危険

　ソ連崩壊後、独立したウクライナは日本の１．８倍ほどの面積があり、国旗の色は二色で、どこまでも続く空の「青さ」と「黄色」は広い麦畑を表してると言われます。　

　2月24日、ウクライナ東部に多い新ロシア派の人々を守るために起こしたとされるロシアによるウクライナへの侵攻以来、兵士や国民にどれほどの犠牲者が出ているかは、実際に発表されてる人数よりずっと多いと推測されます。連日届く映像は女性兵士の姿も多く、犠牲者には子供も多数含まれてると伝えています。

　遺族の苦しみは勝者も敗者も同じ。「戦争を始めるのは簡単でも、終えるのは難しい」と痛感します。誰もが願う停戦すら、いつになっても実現の道筋が見えません。たとえ戦火がやんだとしても、人々の胸に宿る憎悪の火は、簡単には消えることはないでしょう。人類にとって戦争ほど悲惨なことはない。
