人生では 夢中になるもの 生き甲斐に

　私にとって家族は常時１００羽ほどいたレース鳩たちで、北海道・稚内から帰還させる夢を追い求めてましたが、４年前に飼育を止め、その代わり、現在、私を虜にしてるものは同様に１００本ほどの植木たちです。

　どちらも生き物であり、日々変化し成長する様子は大きな楽しみです。とは言え、最も素晴らしいときは２月の大きな梅に始まり、４月のシャクナゲ類、５月のツツジや牡丹類、藤などの開花時期で誠に充実そのものです。

　しかし、若き日より私を虜にさせたものは本来は音楽【ソプラノサキソフォーン・ピアノ】でしたが、聴く人もなく、いっしょに奏でる人もなく、こちらは来訪者があるとき奏でる程度です。

　変わった趣味では若き日のインド滞在が尾を引き「このことを英語で何と言うか」との観点から、和英辞典と睨めっこが日々続いてます。

Dear my friends abroad
