芙蓉の花 寒さに負けず 今日も咲く

　涼しさを通り過ぎ寒さまで覚えた昨日も庭に咲いてる芙蓉です。ご覧の通り、それほど鮮やかではなく、ちょっと汚れかかった黄色です。しかし、５枚の花弁を持つ大きな黄色は遠方から誠によく目立ちます。

　花弁の中央には花弁の枚数と同じ５個の橙色した雌蕊と、その下に黄色の雄蕊がたくさんあります。更に、その下方は赤くなっており、色彩のバランスをとってます。

　花の少ない季節に咲いてるこの芙蓉を観賞してると、「小さなことに拘らず、本筋のみ求めて大胆に生きろ」と私を諭しているように感じます。

　未だ、蕾を持ってるので、時々水を与えしっかり育てます。今後、大きな植木鉢に移植し、冬季は暖かな室内で育てます。庭の花は私の家族です。
