日本の文化を象徴する小学唱歌の数々

　今日１１月３日は「文化の日」です。私は「最も日本らしい文化」の一つは、明治時代～大正時代～昭和初期に子供たちのために創られた「小学唱歌」ではないかと感じてます。

　このように、子供たちの歌がたくさんある国は日本だけと言われます。それはメロディーが歌いやすく、すぐに覚えられ、しかも、どの唱歌にも品格が漂います。また、歌詞もメロディーと一体化し、美しい日本語の典型です。唱歌の歌詞によって、「言葉使いの正しさと丁寧さ」を子供たちへ自然に教えています。

　ところで、晩秋が近づき「みかん」は急に色づき始め、つい捥いで食べたくなります。季節によってそれぞれ果物の食べ頃が異なる様は日本の原風景です。

　唱歌「みかんの花咲く丘」は旋律と旋律との間に優れた間奏が挿入されてます。何故、こんな素晴らしい間奏が創作できたのでしょう。前の音と同じ音から間奏が生じてます。それではお聴きください。

　Today, November 3rd, is Culture Day in Japan. I feel that one of the "most Japanese cultures" is the "elementary school songs" that were created for children in the Meiji, Taisho, and early Showa eras.

　By the way, late autumn is approaching and the "tangerine oranges" suddenly start to turn colors making me want to pick it up and eat. It is typical of Japan that the best time to eat fruits which differs depending on seasons.

　The song "Mikan no Hanasaku Oka" that means "The hill of blooming tangerine" has the excellent interludes between the previous melody and the next melody. How was it possible to create such a wonderful interlude? An interlude occurs from the same note as the previous note. Please listen the "Mikan no Hanasaku Oka".
