若き日の 体験は貴重 想い出せるか

　群馬県民ならば、概して、この二つの峰は南の方角に並んで聳えてるので、見覚えがあるでしょう。倉賀野に住む私は小さい頃から、いつかは登ろうと思ってました。この峰は東御荷鉾山と西御荷鉾山です。

　実は、この二つの峰には、鬼石町から南牧村に至る「スーパー林道」が走っており、関東地方の林道としては67㎞で最長です。ここから見る眺望は想像以上に素晴らしく、思わずため息が出るほどです。北は群馬の峰々と共に、故郷の街並みが見え深く感動します。

　更に二つの峰も比較的簡単に登れることから、私は幼き二人の娘を東御荷鉾山の頂上へ連れて行ったことがあります。長女はすべて歩きましたが、次女は2才だったので、殆ど私が背負いました。それでも、山頂付近から、眺望が開ける瞬間を体験させるため、最後は自身に歩かせました。覚えているだろうか。

　一方、高崎商業高校吹奏楽部の冬休みの合宿では、途中のレクレーションで全員が西御荷鉾山頂【標高1286m】を極めました。快晴で眺望は最高。しかも、広い山頂には雪が15cmほど積もっていたところ、金管打楽器群～対～木管楽器群による雪合戦が華々しく始まりました。

　実際には、この時とばかり、後輩は先輩を目掛け、女子は男子を目掛けていました。彼らはすでに50代半ば、覚えているでしょうか。

　Gumma residents have generally seen these two peaks standing side by side in the south direction. I was born and still live in Kuragano-town, Takasaki-city, since I was a boy, I wanted to climb these peaks. They are Mt. East-Mikaboko and Mt. West-Mikaboko.

　In fact, between these two peaks, there is a "Super Forest Road" from Onishi-Town to Nammoku-Village, which is the longest forest road at 67 km in the Kanto region. My eldest daughter walked all the way, but my second daughter was 2 years old, so I carried on my back most of way. 　On the other hand, at the winter vacation training camp of the wind orchestra club of Takasaki High School of Commerce, all of members climbed the summit of Mt. West-Mikahoko [altitude 1286m] as a recreational activity. The weather was fine and the view was great, and snow had piled up about 15 cm on the wide summit, so that a snowball fight between the brass percussion group and the woodwind group began spectacularly.

　Actually, they thought this is a one-in-a-million chance, the juniors were aiming at the seniors, and the girls were aiming at the boys. They are already in their mid 50's, Do they remember?
