山頂の 景色はパノラマ 鳩放す

　ウォーキング中、私は常にデジカメを携帯し、チャンスを逃さず目に映る光景を撮って記録してます。写真は群馬県のほぼ中央部に聳える懐かしい「十二ヶ岳」です。(最も左の峰)

　以前には、私の家の前の方と毎年、いろいろの山へ正月登山に行って山頂から雄大な景色を眺めつつ、新年の祝杯を挙げました。彼は日本百名山をすべて登った山の大ベテランで私は安心でした。

　ですから、この十二ヶ岳山頂からの「上越国境に連なる白銀の谷川連峰を眺めた景色」は今でも鮮明に脳裏に焼き付いており、心の財産になってます。

　十二ヶ岳は、その名が示す通り、標高１２００ｍで、山頂には樹木がなく、パノラマの景色が堪能できます。当時、私はレース鳩を飼っていたことから、登山には常に鳩を連れて行き、この十二ヶ岳山頂からも、その年が良い一年であることを鳩に託し、数羽のレース鳩を放しました。鳩は山頂から更に高く舞い上がり、一気に倉賀野の鳩舎をめざし、南の方向へ消えました。

　この山は登山客が少ないです。しかし、登り易く、途中に傾斜が緩やかな女坂と、傾斜が厳しい近道の男坂があり、私たちは男坂を登りました。群馬県の中でも、十二ヶ岳山頂からの景色は卓越しており、お勧めの山です。

Dear my overseas friends who like a breath-taking nature

　While walking, I always carry a digital camera with me, and whenever I get a chance, I capture and record the sights that I encounter. The photo shows the nostalgic Mt. Junigadake which rises almost in the center of Gumma Prefecture.

　In the past, every year, I went on a New Year's mountain climbing trip with Mr. O lived in front of my house, and celebrated the New Year while admiring the magnificent scenery from the summit of the mountain. He was a veteran mountaineer who had climbed all 100 famous mountains in Japan, so I was relieved.

　Therefore, from the summit of Mt. Junigadake, "The view of the silvery Tanigawa mountain range that stretches to the border between Gumma and Niigata prefecture" is still vividly imprinted in my mind and has become the asset in my heart.

　As the name suggests, the altitude of Mt. Junigadake is just 1,200 meters. There are no trees on the summit, so mountaineers can enjoy a panoramic view. At the time, I was breeding racing pigeons, so I always took them with me when climbing mountains. So I released them. The pigeon soared higher from the summit, headed for their loft in Kuragano-town, and disappeared southward.

　"There are few climbers on this mountain." However, there are Onna-zaka that means the route for ladies which is easier and long to climb, and Otoko-zaka for men, which is a shortcut with a steeper slope. We climbed Otoko-zaka. The scenery from the summit is outstanding and breathtaking beyond description even in Gumma Prefecture, so that I recommend you to climb this mountain with your sweetheart some day.
