健康長寿の先生はcentenarian

写真は時々、ウォーキングに行く倉賀野緑地内にある樹齢70~80年と推定される大きな欅です。枝から枝までの幅は20mほどでしょう。幹に近づくと私はすぐ「テッポウ」を始める癖があります。どうぞ、その姿をご想像ください。でも、気は若くても年を重ねた現在、上半身の筋肉増強には効果があると実感します。男女を問わず「テッポウ」はお薦めです。
ところで、万人に共通する願いは心身共なる健康長寿です。これについて理想の教師といえば、それは100歳以上で元気に暮らしてる超高齢者と言えます。以前に書きましたが、近隣の阿久津町に住んでおられ、100歳を超えても上毛新聞「ひろば」に度々投稿されてた滝沢三四吉さんとはどんな人か、ぜひお会いしたくて、私は2回訪ねて話を伺ったことがあります。そしたら私の母と南八幡小学校で同級生であることが分かりました。
彼の印象は、先ず大らかでユーモアをお持ちで、常ににこにこしながら世間の話をされました。ご家族は先立たれた息子さんのお嫁さんとの二人暮らしでした。
肝心の健康長寿の問いかけには、先ず、心に余裕がある方と感じました。食事については、何でも召し上がるようですが、特に、植物性たんぱく質が大切と言っておられました。一方、環境的には、滝沢さん宅のすぐ後方は烏川の高い土手です。毎日、この土手に登り、赤城山など上毛三山を眺め、新鮮な空気が吸える環境にあります。
私たちも「家族との会話」や「文章作り」など言語生活を基盤とし、食事内容を吟味し、適度な運動を心掛け、更には、自らの興味関心ごとにいつまでも心を奪われる生活でありたいものです。

As I wrote before, I would like to meet Mr. Miyoshi Takizawa, who lives in the neighboring town of Akutsu. He had been frequently posted in the Jomo newspaper "Hiroba" even though he is a centenarian. I have visited twice and heard the way of his life. To my surprise, he and my mother were classmates at South Yawata Elementary School.
My first impression of him was that he was generous and had a sense of humor, always smiling while talking about the world. Unfortunately his son already passed away, so he lived with his son's wife.
First of all, I felt that when asked about the key question of his health and longevity. As for meals, he seems to eat anything, but he said that vegetable protein is especially important. On the other hand, in terms of the environment, there is a high bank of the Karasu River right behind Mr. Takizawa's house. It is an environment where he could climb this embankment every day, viewed Gumma's well-known three mountains including Mt. Akagi, and breathe in the fresh air.
We should be also based on language life such as "conversation with family" and "writing sentences", and we carefully examine the content of meals, try to exercise moderately, and furthermore, we live a life that is always fascinated by our own interests.
