登校時の パトロール隊 頑張ります。

　今朝は一段と寒いようです。今日１月１０日から学校では３学期が始まり、私もこれから一週間、毎朝７時３０分より約１時間、地元・倉賀野小学校児童の登校パトロールに参加します。

　実は近年、私の家の北部で今まで田んぼだった場所に新築家屋が３０件ほど建ちました。このため、朝の時間帯では通学路に通勤の車が増えてるので、子供たちも今まで以上に登下校に注意を払う必要があります。

　私たちパトロール隊としては、一列登校など、より安全な登校を指導し、併せて、挨拶など声掛けをして、楽しい学校生活になるよう側面から応援したいと思います。パトロールが終わってから朝食です。

Dear my overseas friends 　

　It looks like it's even colder this morning in the Japanese archipelago. Today, January 10th, the 3rd semester begins at school in our nation, so till next week, I will patrol the local Kuragano Elementary School for about an hour starting at 7:30 every morning.

　In fact, in recent years, about 30 new houses have been built in the area that used to be rice fields in the north of my residence. For this reason, there are more commuting cars on the school road specially in the morning, so children need to pay more attention to their commute to and from school than before.

　As a patrol team, we would like to guide pupils to go to school in a safer manner, such as going in line. And at the same time, to support their fun school life, we would like to greet them and call out to them. After the patrol is over, it's time for my breakfast.
