膨らみます 梅の蕾も 人の心も

　荒涼としてた冬季の庭は立春を迎え、日に日に何か希望まで膨らむかのように、５本の梅の蕾が大きくなってます。

　どうしたことでしょう。花梅に魅せられた私は年間を通じて、一日たりとも梅の木を見ないことはありません。今ではどれも大きく成長し、水を与えては角度を変えて全体像を眺め、時折、剪定してます。剪定とは未来に向け、更に良い枝ぶりを生み出す方法で子育てに似てます。

　写真は「紅梅枝垂れ」で恰も両腕を広げた様は、人間の悩みまで大きく包み込むかの如くで、見応えがあります。１０年ほど前、大雪で一度傾いてしまいましたが、大きくて植え返すことはできず、剪定を工夫し、今では傾いてることが分からなくなり、年々貫禄さえ感じられるようになってます。

　この他、紅白に咲き分ける種類は「思いのまま」です。玄関前に植えてあり、色彩は多少異なります。１本の白梅枝垂れと４本の紅梅は色彩にそれぞれ微妙な変化があり、恰も楽器の音色の如くで、それぞれ個性を表し、庭全体が香りと色彩のハーモニーと言えます。

　今月中旬から約一か月間咲きますので、お近くの方は見にいらしてください。お茶を飲みつつ歓談いたしましょう。

　　The desolate winter garden turned to the first day of spring named "Risshun", and the buds of five plums are growing day by day, as if they are filled with hope.

　"What happened?" I was so fascinated by flower plums that I never miss a single day of the year. All of them have grown big now, and I give them water, and by changing the angle, look at the whole shape, and prune them occasionally. 　The picture is a "Weeping red plum named Kobai Shidare", and it looks like spreading her arms, as if she is enveloping even human troubles, and it's worth seeing. About 10 years ago, it tilted once due to a heavy snowfall, but it was too big to replant.

　"Omoi no Mama" means as you think is another type that blooms bicolored in both red and white. It is planted in front of the entrance, and the depth of color is slightly different. One big weeping white plum tree and four red plum trees have subtle variations in color, each of them are like the sound of musical instruments.
