台風一過に 満月出る

　今日は太陰太陽暦(旧暦)で４月15日ですから、十五夜です。でも、よく観察すると、ほんの少し左下がぼやけてますが、これくらいなら満月です。月が出ている方角は何と「南東」です。この理由は何故でしょう。

　満月のとき、太陽と月が地球を挟んでほぼ正反対の位置にあるからです。今日の日の入りの方角は北極から西に向かって６２°です。このため、月は南東から出ました。

　また、月の直径は３４７４ｋｍと計測されてます。因みに稚内から鹿児島までの直線距離は約１８００ｋｍですから、日本列島が月面にあるとすれば、その長さが想像できます。

　一方、月は約１ヶ月に１回公転し、１回自転してるので月面のほぼすべてに太陽光が当たりますが、月の上部の北極にある深いクレーターの底は常に太陽光が当たらない所（永久影）があると考えられてます。永久影では低温状態が保たれているため、古い氷（H₂O）が存在している可能性が指摘されています。
