　私の住む高崎市倉賀野町・上四地区の長寿会発行による「お知らせ版」には、シルバー川柳が掲載され、いつも楽しく拝見させていただいてます。

　シルバー川柳は、日常生活で高齢者が「ふと感じる心の動き」を五七五のリズムに載せ、人情味、心配なこと、寂しさ、温かさ、風刺などが含まれ、読んだ人が心から共感できます。

　同時に心のオアシスとしてユーモアが感じ取れます。しかし、もしかして本人にとっては重大な側面であることも覗けます。その心境が的確に表現され、私たち読む人にとって納得できたり、楽しさの極みです。
