季節の変化と共に、血管を柔軟にしたい

　９月も今日で終わり、早いもので後９３日目は令和６年です。子供の頃は１年が長かったのに、年を重ねると月日の経つのが本当に早く感じます。人生とは意外と短いのかもしれません。というのは、小中学校時代の同級生が２００名程いましたが、日々の生活で地元・倉賀野中の同級生に会うことは殆どなくなりました。

　そんな中、昨日の夕方、倉賀野を散策していたら同級生の女性に５０年振り位に会い、２０分程、立ち話をして気持ちが幼き日に戻りました。昔の私の家の近くに住んでた彼女の名は"えっちゃん"で、彼女は私の事を"ひろちゃん"と言ってくれました。彼女は私の兄弟の名前を皆知っていてくれましたが、私は彼女の兄弟のことはすっかり忘れ、話しているうちに蘇りました。ご主人と二人暮らしとのことです。

　ところで、写真の宇宙船のようなものは何でしょう。

　これは日本の真ん中と言われる群馬県渋川市にある日帰り温泉施設"スカイテルメ"です。近年はご無沙汰ですが、以前によく行きました。ビルの５階ほどに相当する位置に内風呂や露天風呂があり、赤城山や榛名山の景色を眺めつつ、お湯に浸かれます。レース鳩を飼っていたころ、この付近から訓練し、ついでに入浴してきたものです。

　最近、入浴で感じることは「温まることに重点」を置いてます。これにより、血管が柔軟になり、血液循環が良くなります。

   

　健康のためには、日々、心臓のために脹脛を鍛えるキャフレイズ、上半身を鍛えるテッポウなどしてます。大切なことは、筋肉の維持・増進とともに、スムースな血液循環を促し、そして何より、がん対策として抗酸化作用が欠くべからざることで実践してます。

　For health, I daily exercise includes calf-raising for my heart, exercise to strengthen the upper body's muscle and blood circulation. Above all, I drink anti-oxidant effect juice to prevent cancers.

中秋の名月は未来永劫「仏滅」です。

　今宵は旧暦の８月１５日なので「中秋の名月」です。月が出るのは１７時３５分【群馬県】です。最近は夜の時間も次第に長くなり、お月見には最適な季節です。月が見える東の窓際に月見まんじゅうやススキを飾った昔が思い出されます。どの家でもちゃぶ台にこれらのお供えをしたことから、子供たちは近所の月見まんじゅうを内緒で失敬する竹やりを作ったものです。近年は、そのような微笑ましい風習はなくなりました。

　ところで、カレンダーでお気づきの通り、十五夜である「中秋の名月は毎年必ず仏滅」です。これは未来もずっと変わりません。仏滅とは古代中国から伝わった陰陽道で万事に不吉とする日です。なぜ、中秋の名月を毎年、仏滅としたのでしょう。不思議なことです。彼岸に近いからでしょうか。

　ところで、六曜の順番については、旧暦の月の初日においても、日においても、先勝～友引～先負～仏滅～大安～赤口の順に決まってます。

　

　ですから、旧暦の１月１日は先勝から始め、２月１日は友引から、以下、３月は先負、４月は仏滅、５月は大安、６月は赤口から始まり、同様に、７月１日は先勝から始まり、８月は友引、９月は先負、１０月は仏滅、１１月は大安、１２月１日は赤口から始まります。

　一方、旧暦で秋とは７月が初秋、８月は中秋、９月は晩秋であることから、中秋とは秋の真ん中を意味し、８月を指します。旧暦の８月１日は前述の通り、友引から始まるので、日を順に数えると十五夜は必ず仏滅になり、このため未来永劫、変わらぬことです。

　

　このように旧歴では中秋の名月以外でも年中行事について六曜が決まります。

　例えば、３月３日の旧ひな祭りは毎年・大安であり、旧七夕は毎年・先勝と決まり、この晩は彦星と織姫星が「七」日目の「夕」刻の半月に乗って天の川を渡り、１年一回会うことが許されます。恋は「先」手必「勝」なのでしょう。

　ところで、東に上る「中秋の名月」をオーストラリアなど南半球で同時に見ると、日本で見るのと月の紋様の角度が７０度ほど右に変わり、ウサギが餅をつく姿とは異なります。地球が丸いので月を見る人の目の角度が変わるからです。

　世界の国々では高緯度と低緯度及び南半球では月の紋様が、日本で見る満月とは異なって見えます。また、時間が経過すると地球の自転により、紋様は時計回りに変化します。

　太陽と地球と月の位置関係では、このような満月では月は公転する地球より外側にあることから、月食が起こりやすいです。また、地球の公転スピードより速度を増すことになり、地球の公転速度は毎秒約２９㎞であることから、月はおそらく秒速３０ｋｍ以上のスピードになるのではないかと推測します。

　それにしても、太陽と地球間の距離は約１億５０００万㎞であるのに対し、地球から月までの距離は約３８万Ｋｍであるこから、太陽までの距離は月までの距離の約４００倍です。一方、太陽の直径も月の直径の４００倍なので、宇宙空間にできる図形は相似形となり、地球から見る太陽と月の大きさはほぼ同じに見えます。

榛名山でも熊が出没します。

　写真は群馬県の中央に聳える「榛名山」(標高１４４９m)の全景です。倉賀野町からはすべての峰が見え見事です。その理由は、榛名山が南西から北東に伸びており、私の住む倉賀野町が南東に位置し、正面から見るからです。

　ご覧の通り、榛名山は多くの峰々から成り立ち、元々それぞれは火山と考えられます。私は今までにほぼすべての峰に登りました。峰々からはそれぞれ雄大な景色が見られ、特に西端の天狗山山頂からは西上州の景色がよく見えます。私が最も印象深く感じたのは見かけ上一番高い「相馬山」で関東平野が一望です。富士山もよく見えます。

　中央にはカルデラの榛名湖があり、周囲およそ４kmの広い湖です。今でも、時折、マイナスイオンを感じつつ、一周ウォーキングをします。帰路には途中の伊香保温泉に浸かり、これが楽しみです。しかし、時折、熊が出没するので、榛名山に登るときは細心の注意が必要です。友人アルカディアさんはここで熊に遭遇し、逃げる途中、転んで足を骨折しましたが、それでも逃げたそうです。

　一方、我妻川の北岸の丘陵地には黒井峯遺跡があり、6世紀中頃に起きた榛名山二ツ岳の噴火で埋没した古墳時代の集落の遺跡があり、今でも、多くの家屋が埋没したままです。場所は子持中学校のすぐ西です。

　以前にレース鳩を飼育してたとき、数回、この黒井峯遺跡から距離２５km程の放鳩訓練をしました。黒井峯遺跡からは日本の名湯「伊香保温泉」の街並みがよく見えます。私のフェイスブックの上部に掲げてある円錐形の山は最も東の水沢山です。

　The photo shows a panoramic view of Mt. Haruna (1,449m above sea level), which towers in the center of Gumma Prefecture, Japan. All the peaks can be seen from my Kuragano-Town and are spectacular. The reason for this is that Mt. Haruna stretches from southwest to northeast, and Kuragano-Town is located in the southeast so that we can see the panoramic view from the just in front.

　As you can see, Mt. Haruna is made up of many peaks, each of which is originally thought to be a volcano. I have climbed almost every peaks so far. Magnificent views can be seen from each of the peaks, and the view of western Gumma Prefecture can be seen particularly well from the summit of Mt. Tengu at the western end. What impressed me most was Mt. Sohma, which is apparently the highest mountain and offers a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain. We can also see Mt. Fuji clearly.

　In the center of Mt. Haruna is the caldera of Lake Haruna, which is a large lake that Ms. Sarah Spence had seen, with a circumference of approximately 4 km. Even now, I sometimes walk around the lake feeling the minus ion. I'm looking forward to soaking in Ikaho Spa on the way back. However, bears occasionally appear, so you need to be extremely careful when climbing Mt. Haruna. My friend Arcadia encountered a bear here, and while he was running away, he fell and broke his leg, but he still ran away.

　On the other hand, on the hilly area on the north bank of the Agatsuma-River, there are the Kuroimine ruins, which contain the ruins of a village from the Kofun period of 6th century that was buried by the eruption of Mt. Futatsu-dake in Mt. Haruna. The location is just west of Komochi Junior High School.

　When I previously was raising racing pigeons, I conducted pigeon release training several times here at a distance of about 25 km. From the Kuroimine ruins, you can clearly see the cityscape of Japan's famous Ikaho Spar. The conical mountain at the top of this Facebook page is the easternmost Mt. Mizusawa.

言葉で繋がっていると楽しい人間社会

　庭では円卓を囲み、来客がいつ見えても、歓談できるように準備が整ってます。長いこと一人での生活を続けていると、人間とは言葉で繋がることが分かり、人と会話することに無上の喜びを感じます。

　人はそれぞれ貴重な歴史の持ち主であり、それぞれ異なる体験をされ、いろいろの考え方や趣味を持ち、日々の生活をされてます。このため、人には物事に対する独特の感じ方、見方があります。それを聴いて私も刺激を受け、自分に無い新たな世界に浸り、新たな感想を持つもので、そこに対話が生じます。

　互いに、つい一所懸命話し込むと喉を潤すものが必要で、お茶を一杯飲むと喉のみならず、身体に浸み渡り、それにより落ち着いて新たな発想が生まれ、次の話に花が咲くものです。

　ところで、私の地区は倉賀野町でも京都に近いことから地元では上町と言います。昨日の夕方は下町までウォーキングし、昔馴染みのＯさんの家に立ち寄ったところ、ご主人は趣味の作業で忙しかったです。

　結局、玄関で奥方と暫くぶりに話したところ、最近、家の中で転んで骨折し、暫く入院してたとのことでした。そんな時、今でもそうですが、特に夏の期間、私は家の中では一日中、裸足で過ごしてることを伝えました。

　フローリングではスリッパや靴下では急に動くと滑ります。足裏には多少水分があり、裸足なら床で滑ることはないと伝えました。結果的に、終始、笑顔の奥様に癒さた私は帰路のウォーキングのエネルギーになりました。人間とは言葉で繋がってることをかみしめつつ、家路に向かいました。

　Human beings have a precious each history, have different experiences, have various ways of thinking and hobbies, and they live their daily lives. Because of this, each people have unique ways of feeling and seeing. Listening to it inspires me, immerses me in a new world, and gives me new impressions which leads to dialogue.

　When we talk so hard to each other, we need something to soothe our throats, and when we drink a cup of tea, it not only goes down our throats, but also soaks into our bodies, which gives new ideas and sparks the next conversation.

　Not change the subject, but my district is called Kami-cho in Kuragano Town because it is close to Kyoto. Yesterday evening, I walked downtown and stopped by the residence of Mr. O who is an old friend of mine, but the husband was busy with his hobby.

生まれ故郷・倉賀野町を高い位置から眺める

　たまには高い所から自分の棲家を見下ろすのも楽しいことです。ここは私が住む倉賀野町で最も高いマンションの最上階から西の方角を撮ったもので、手前に連なる山の真ん中には高崎観音も写ってます。この辺はおよそ北緯３６度１７分で、東経１３９度０２分です。

　雲に隠れてますが、中央の遠望は浅間山で、左の鋸のような山が妙義山です。右の尖った山は浅間隠山です。

　肝心の私の家は写っていません。もっと左です。今日も倉賀野をウォーキングし、Hunger is the best sauce.を胸に夕食が美味しくなるように心掛けます。歩けば、思いのほかビールが美味しい。

　Sometimes it's fun to look down on my home from a high place. This photo was taken looking west from the top floor of the tallest apartment building in Kuragano-Town, Takasaki-city, Japan where I live. You can also see Takasaki-Kannon Statue in the middle of the mountains in the foreground. This area is approximately 36 degrees 17 minutes north latitude and 139 degrees 02 minutes east longitude.

　Although hidden behind clouds, the distant view in the center is the famous active volcano Mt. Asama, and the saw-shaped mountain on the left is Mt. Myogi. The sharp mountain on the remote right is Mt. Asama-Kakushi.

　To the regret, the most important my house is not shown. It's more to the left. I will be walking again in this evening so as to be delicious dinner with the idea that "Hunger is the best sauce." if walking around, the beer will be delicious beyond description, of course, thinking of you.

楽しかった動物との触れ合い

　馬の背に乗って動いたのは生涯に2回です。現代の日本ではなかなかそのような環境にはないので、いずれも海外でのことです。

　写真は後方に移動式の家「パオ」が見える通り、中国内モンゴル自治区でのことです。私が飼っていたレース鳩がこちらまで飛んで行ってしまい、中国から連絡を受けたのでその鳩に会いに行ったときです。パオの中にオルガンがあったので、私は「中国国歌」を弾いたら、皆さんが手拍子をしてくださり盛り上がり、楽しく日中友好が出来ました。音楽は世界共通であることを実感です。

　馬に乗ると目の高さがいつもより高く、景色が一変します。実は、ここでは生涯に一度の体験でラクダにも乗りました。ラクダに乗るとものすごく揺れるので、つい背中のこぶに摑まりたくなりますが、摑まったもダメです。あのこぶの中に骨はなく、油と言われます。ですから柔らかくて摑まりようがありません。

　もう一回、馬に乗ったのは世界の屋根と言われるインド北部のカシミールの山岳地帯でのことです。雪が降った後なので山の高い所へ行くのに登山道を馬に跨り、登ったのですが、こちらはゴツゴツした登り坂なので、やはり揺れましたが、その甲斐あって景色は抜群でした。インドは暑いと想われがちですが、北部インドでは雪が降ります。

　I rode on the back of a horse twice in my life. In modern Japan, we don't really have that kind of environment, so all of these happened overseas.

　The photo was taken in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, as you can see the mobile house named "Pao" in Chinese in the background. In fact, one of my racing pigeons that had strayed into Inner Mongolia, and I received a letter from China, so I went to reunion my pigeon. There was an organ in the Pao, so I played the Chinese national anthem, as the result, everyone clapped and got excited, and we had fun friendship between Japan and China. I realized that music is universal.

　When we ride a horse, our eyes are higher than usual, and the scenery changes completely. In fact, I even rode a camel here as well for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. When I ride a camel, it shakes back and forth so much that it makes me want to grab the hump on its back, but it's no good. There are no bones in their bumps, The inside is said to be oil. That's why it's so soft that I can't grab it.

　The other time I rode a horse was in the mountainous region of Kashmir in northern India, which is said to be the roof of the world. After the snow had fallen, I climbed up the mountain trail on horseback to get to the higher part of the mountain. It was a rocky climb, so I was still shaking, but it was worth because the scenery was outstanding beyond description. India is often thought of as extremely hot, but it snows in northern India.

　人生１００年時代と言われ、健康であれば多くの人が長生きできる時代に向かってます。長命ならば退職後の年数は４０年程あり、これを月数に直せば５００ヶ月程あります。この「長い期間をどのように過ごすか」は、高齢者のみならず、やがてその時期を迎える若い人にとっても他人事ではありません。

　ところが、退職後の大切な基盤は、現実には何と言っても「健康と経済である」ことに間違いありません。一方、人間とは精神生活があるので、日々充実した生活を送るには、この二つだけでは生きられません。

　拙い体験でも、子供たちが親から離れ、独立してしまった後の長い年月を心豊かに生きるには「本当に夢中になれることが三つ程あれば日々の生活は充実し、心は寂しくない。」と思いますし、延いては、認知症予防につながると考えられます。若い人は生涯を通じて「心から楽しめる自らの世界」を今の内から築いてください。

　写真は庭の「クロガネモチ」です。私の住む倉賀野町に発音が似てます。四季によって色彩が変化し、ご覧の通り、現在は夏の間に育った数え切れない多くの実が緑色濃くなってます。これが来月下旬から色づき始め冬季には真っ赤になります。

　一方、クロガネモチは「苦労がなく金持ち」に通じるネーミングから縁起木として昔から育てられてきたようです。私は今日も植物の世話で忙しいです。植物は色彩の豊かさと共に、光合成により二酸化炭素を吸収し、人間にとって最も大切な酸素を生み出します。

　It is said to be the era of 100-year lifespans, so we are heading into an era where many people can live long lives if we are healthy. If we live a long life, we well have about 40 years after retirement, in other words, it will be about 500 months. How to spend this long period is not just a matter for the elderly, but also for young people who will reach that age in the future.

　However, in reality, there is no doubt that the most important foundations after retirement are health and finance. On the other hand, since humans have a spiritual life, so in order to live a fulfilling daily life, it is not possible to live only with these two things.

　The photo indicates "Kuroganemochi" that means Round Leaf Holly in the garden. The pronunciation is similar to Kuragano-machi where I live. The colors change with the seasons, and as you can see, the countless berries that grew during the summer, are now a deep green. This will begin to change color from the end of next month and turn bright red in winter.

　On the other hand, Kuroganemochi seems to a lucky tree for a long time because its name means "rich without hardship". I'm busy taking care of plants today as well. In addition to its rich colors, plants absorb carbon dioxide through photosynthesis and produce oxygen which is most indispensable for humans.

楽しみな天神平～坤六峠への紅葉狩り・・もうすぐ

　軽のバンがあることから、Audi TT quattroにあまり乗ることが少なく、今日の午後、わざわざ乗りました。倉賀野バイパスの広い国道経由で岩鼻まで行き、旧国道17号を西に戻り、体力増強のため「クスリの青木」で牛乳や豆乳などを購入し、４kmほど乗りました。

　これでバッテリーは大丈夫でしょう。本格的な秋になったら、助手席に彼女を載せ、谷川岳天神平～群馬県最北の奈良俣ダム～「坤六峠」を周遊し、群馬県で最もきれいな「紅葉の名所めぐり」をドライブします。それまで、車の調整と私の体調を絶好調に鍛え上げます。

Dear my friends who are interested in driving and great music

　Since I have a light van vehicle, I don't ride the Audi TT quattro very often, so I went out of my way to ride it this afternoon. I went to Iwahana-town via the wide national road of Kuragano-Bypass, returned west on the old National Route 17. On the way, I bought milk and soy milk at "Medical shop named Aoki" to strengthen my stamina. Therefore I rode about 4km by TT.

　The battery should be fine now. When autumn is in full swing, I put a sweetheart in the passenger seat and take a tour from Mt. Tanigawa Tenjindaira, to the northernmost Naramata Dam in Gumma Prefecture, and Konroku Pass. So I will drive through Gumma Prefecture's most beautiful autumnal tints spots. Until then, I will continue to tune up the car and keep my physical condition in top shape.

最近、早朝に金星が光ってます。

　写真は今朝５時に撮影した金星です。東の空に浮かび、太陽に近いため幾分か欠けてます。金星のことは英語でVenusですが、今回のような明けの明星をmorning starと言ったり、特に、Luciferとも言うようです。

　今朝の日の出は５時３３分、日の入りは１７時３９分【いずれも群馬県】です。ですから今日の昼の時間の長さは１２時間０６分で、夜の時間は１１時間５４分です。未だ、昼の方が長いです。この調子で行くと９月２７日頃が昼と夜の時間が同じになるでしょう。これは日本中同じであるのみならず、地球上では同じでしょう。

　日の出の定義は太陽の上が見えた瞬間であり、日の入りの定義は太陽の上が隠れた瞬間です。このため、秋分の日の昼の時間と夜の時間が同じではありません。もし、日の出と日の入りの定義が太陽の中心であれば、秋分の日の昼と夜の時間は同じです。

　ところで、朝になると「今日一日が充実する日になるように」と思います。また、「今日が今までにない新たな発見があるように」、「新たな出会いがあるように」希望している私がいます。

災害は忘れたころにやって来る

　昨日はラジオ体操会場の倉賀野町上四公園で、午後3時から「テント張り」をしました。何のテントかと言いますと、実は今日の午前９時半から地区の住民が集まり「防災訓練」が実施されます。ですから、テント張りはその準備でした。消防署から起震車が来て、住民は地震の揺れを体験します。これに乗ると、揺れが怖くて途中で泣き出す子供もいて地震の怖さを知る貴重な体験になります。

　一見、平和に平穏に経過する毎日ですが、自然災害や火災はいつ起こるか分かりません。それは就寝中かも、通勤中かも、食事中かも、職場にいる時かもしれません。深夜に災害が起こると停電になる可能性があり、スマホは使えるとは限らず、離れている家族との連絡が取れないことも起こり、絶対に必要なトイレが使えなくなる場合もあります。

　一方、大地震など災害が起こると、流通が途絶え、スーパーやコンビニから食料が無くなります。平素から「３日分の食料を確保」しておきましょう。

　私は今までの人生で、誠に怖い思いを二度体験しました。一つは、搭乗してた飛行機が墜落しそうになりました。インドのベンガル湾上空で比較的小さな飛行機がサイクロンの中に入ってしまい、推定２００メートルほどどんどん急降下してしまい、窓から何も見えず、客は皆、顔面蒼白、機内の荷物は天井にぶつかり、私は椅子にしがみ付きました。

　もう一つは、東北大震災後のある日、新宿副都心の超高層ビルの５０階にいたとき物凄い余震が起こったのです。ビルが５mほど左右に横揺れし、その揺れは５分間程止まらず、恐ろしいブランコに乗った感覚でビルが崩れ落ちるかと思い、この世とは思えない恐怖を感じました。もう、超高層ビルには行きません。

「秋分の日」の地球の位置を考える

　それでは、「秋分の日とはどんな日でしょうか。」

鳩を飼ってなくてもPersimmon Marsh Loftを継続

　私の拙いブログのタイトルはPersimmon Marsh Loftです。これを訳せば柿沼鳩舎です。しかし、子供のときから半世紀以上飼育してたレース鳩は数年前に止めました。レースに参加するには種鳩と選手鳩を合計して常時１００羽以上を飼育する必要があったからです。

　一人暮らし故、毎日の清掃や給餌、日々の舎外訓練、時々行う遠方への訓練放鳩、連合会への持ち寄りなど管理が次第に無理と考えたからです。鳩を飼育していたお陰で、優勝したこともあり、特に北海道・稚内から帰って入賞した鳩もいて嬉しかったです。この鳩の名は「稚内モザイク号」です。

　また、イギリスが世界に発行してるレース鳩月刊誌「ピクトリアル」の表紙に３回出たり、一時飼育をやめたとき、飼育してた鳩が鳩舎がないため迷って中国内モンゴルへ飛んで行ったことが足に嵌めておいた住所と名前により判明し、その鳩に私は1人で会いに行きました。内モンゴルは北京駅から列車で１２時間かかりましたが、鳩のお陰で有意義な日中友好ができました。この鳩の名は「中日友好号」です。

　しかし、世界中の人がアクセスできるブログは今も続けており、鳩舎はなくても山小屋風の屋根裏部屋があることからLoftという名を使ってます。また、庭には柿の木があり、これはPersimmonです。ブログは体力を使いませんが、その内容に「発想力」が必要です。ですから、英語版を含め、日々新たなことに挑戦する日々です。

　My unskillful weblog's title is Persimmon Marsh Loft. This translates to Kakinuma Pigeon House. However, a few years ago I stopped breeding racing pigeons, which I had been raising for over half a century since I was a child. My address and name were found on her leg, so a Chinese pigeon fancier there informed me in letter that she is in Inner Mongolia. So I went there to meet her. It took 12 hours to get to Inner Mongolia by train from Beijing Station. So I met my pigeon. However, thanks to this pigeon, we were able to build a meaningful friendship between Japan and China. The name of this pigeon was Sino-Japanese Friendship Bird".

　However, I still maintain a weblog that can be accessed by people all over the world, and even though I don't have a pigeon house, I use the name Loft because I has a mountain cabin-style loft. And as the photo indicates that there is also a persimmon tree in the garden. Blogging does not require physical energy, but the content requires creativity. That's why I'm trying new things every day, including creating an English version.

散歩中の犬が来ると、つい目が合います。

　毎時６時半から行われる「ラジオ体操会場」は犬の散歩道でもあり、毎朝、ご覧の犬種が立ち寄り、皆さんに愛嬌を振りまいて行き、楽しいひと時が流れます。また、最近はここで用意された水を飲むことが日課になってます。

　また、昨今では、飼い主が日中働きに出るとその間、夕刻まで家の中で待っている犬も多く、有名な「愛犬ハチ公」同様に主人の帰りを待ち続けます。犬には「主人が来るまで必ず待ち続ける習性」があるのでしょう。

　ハンドルの握り方は、押す力より引く力を主とします。通学の時間帯に運転しません。「出合がしら」あるので狭い道は通りません。後方を見るカメラが付いてますが、むやみにバックしません。何と言っても「車間距離」を厳守します。時間的に余裕を持ちます。スマホは見ません。常に前方をよく見ます。

自然は順調に秋へ、人間は自然の恵みを享受

　今朝、我が家の三階から撮った日の出直前の東の空です。自然が織りなす色彩豊かな光景に目が奪われ、一日の始まりを感じます。

　今日９月２０日は「彼岸の入り」です。「此の岸から彼の岸へ」逝ってしまった身近な人は数え切れません。人の世に付きものでも、すでに両親、兄弟３人が、また、身近だった妻は１９年前に亡くなり、人生途上で出会った親しかった友人・知人、毎日世話になった近所の人まで入れたら数え切れません。近年では、後輩が亡くなってます。

　このため、最近は私自身が生き残ってる感覚です。しかし、二度とない人生、一度きりの人生です。如何にしたら今からも「人間らしく心豊かに生活できるか」模索してます。可能な限り、怠惰な生活を慎み、「生活力」の向上、及び努力を続ける意志を持ち続けようと思います。

　是が非でも、迫り来る認知症を回避し、遅らせるには、人に頼らない独立心、日々、適度に肉体を動かし、併せて、脳を鍛えることが欠かせません。それには「記憶力」の陶冶であり、記憶したものを「実際に繰り返し使う」ことでしょう。

　暑い寒いも彼岸まで、庭の樹木の葉も落ち始めてます。いよいよ待ちに待った秋本番は、青い愛車でドライブし、豊かな自然を持つ群馬県を満喫しつつ、ついでに山岳地帯の温泉に入り、血行促進を図ります。

星座を見て、季節の移り変わりを確認

　今の季節では、早朝４時に窓を開けると、南東の空に巨大な「冬のダイヤモンド」が日本列島の頭上から南半球へと広がってます。一番南には２１個ある一等星の中で最も明るい「シリウス」が燦然と輝いています。「シリウス」の赤緯は－１６°なのでオーストラリア北部を通過します。

さっぱりして本当に美味ししい「ソーメン」

　今年の夏は９月中旬になっても誠に蒸し暑く、以前に投稿しましたように、昼食はさっぱりする「ソーメン」を食してます。第一、安上がりで実に美味しいです。

　薬味は、私の場合、単純に葱を刻んだものとショウガを摩り下ろしたものだけです。これにより、胃に負担が感じられず、健康的です。毎日食べても数日間は飽きません。

　もちろん、夕食はビール付きで、例えば、焼き鳥や焼き魚、ジャガイモの煮つけなどでバランスを取ってます。尚、低栄養を防ぐことから牛乳を１日にパック１本近く飲みます。

　This summer has been extremely hot and humid in Japan even in mid-September. So I posted previously, I've been eating refreshing "somen" that means Japanese traditional thin noodle for lunch. It's the cheapest and really delicious beyond all description.

　In my case, the condiments are simply chopped green onions and grated ginger. This way, I don't feel any burden on my stomach so that it's healthy. Even if I eat it every day, I won't get tired of it for several days.

　Of course, dinner comes with draft beer, and I balance it such as yakitori that means chicken kebab, grilled fish, and boiled potatoes. In addition, to prevent malnutrition, I drink about one pack of milk a day.

「私も一役、高齢化社会」をモットーに生きる

　現在、一人暮らしの高齢者数は全国でおよそ563万人で、 内訳は男性が180万人、女性が約383万人で、女性が男性の2倍以上と言われてます。

　実は、私もその一人で、今のまま肉体的、精神的に健康を増進・維持し、施設に入らず、年齢を重ねても自らの夢に向かって生き、社会に好奇心を持ち、身の回りのことは自ら行い、ずっと我が家で暮らす強い意志を持ってます。

　今日は９月の第三月曜日なので敬老の日です。老人福祉法では６５才以上を高齢者としてますが、現代の６５才はまだまだ若々しい方が多く、嫌がる場合は無理にお祝いしない方がいいでしょう。人によっては私のように「年寄り扱いされたくない」人もいるでしょう。

手書きで脳を活性化・上毛新聞「みんなのひろば」

　友人「時計屋の隣さん」の投稿文が今日の群馬県・上毛新聞「みんなのひろば」に掲載されました。誠におめでとうございます。

　実は、彼と私は昨晩、往く夏を惜しんで高崎市で楽しい懇親を行ったばっかりです。今朝、ラジオ体操仲間のＫさんがコピーを会場まで持ってきてくださいました。感謝いたします。

　手書きで指先を縦横斜めに動かしながら漢字を書いていると、漢字が手作りされていくような感覚があった。漢字が指先に刻まれていくような錯覚に陥った。

　漢字が思い出せないときは、目をぱちくりさせながら頭で思い出そうとしても、浮かんでこない。手のひらに指先を動かしながら思い出そうとして、よみがえってきた。指先運動は、記憶力を刺激するスイッチだ。脳の活性化に役立つ。指が「第二の脳」とも呼ばれる理由を実感できた。

　指先を使うそろばん、ピアノなど習い事は脳を刺激し、頭をよくすることが期待できそうだが、今は関心がない。手書きで文字を書いてゆくと、漢字につまづく。辞書で調べると、そこには漢字以外の情報も載っている。新聞のコラムを読み、理解し、書き写すのは漢字力を維持する格好の方法だ。

　「抹消である四肢の活動の経験の集積器官が脳である」と言った学者の言葉を思い出した。指先を動かすことによって脳が育つことを意識しよう。これからは、パソコンのキーボード入力を控え、手書きを習慣化していきたい。
　

秋本番が近づき、自然との対話を重視

　昨日は午後４時半頃より、倉賀野町から高崎市の街中までおよそ５kmを国道旧１７号沿いに休みなく歩きましたら、いつもより１０分程早く５時半過ぎに目的の某所へ到着しました。距離的に無駄がなかったのでしょう。

　一般的に、年を重ねると歩幅が狭くなる傾向ですが、そのことを頭に入れ、思っているよりほんの少し歩幅を広げると、ピッチは速くなくてもスピードに乗れます。

　また、下を見ず遠方を見つつ歩くことで、視界から新たな刺激が入り、血流の流れも良いことからいろいろのことが考えられます。やはり、スムースな血液循環こそ健康の基盤と感じます。

　今朝もこれから上四公園でのラジオ体操会に参加します。往復で１km程歩き、ラジオ体操が１０分間なので、朝食前に３０分間は身体を柔軟に動かします。その後、「低栄養にならぬよう」に、自ら作る朝食をしっかり戴きます。今日は愛車で群馬西部に出かけます。

楽しかった今宵の「バク」と電車の中

　只今、無事に帰宅できました。倉賀野駅に着いたら、おんまける様な横殴りの雨が降っていて、暫くの間、全く駅から出られず、１５分ほど待機してました。傘を持っていたので小降りになってから家まで歩き始めました。

　それはそうと、電車の中で相向かいの席にインド人の家族らしい人が４人いたので、勇気をもって「アップカーハンセーアーテーヘン」とヒンズー語で尋ねたら、４人とも驚いた顔をして「バハルテ」と答えてくれ、すごく嬉しかったです。

本当にそっくりな二人に驚く！

　写真は玄関前に咲いてる「ハイビスカス」です。また、似ている「芙蓉」も同じ場所で咲きます。これらは花が大きく、色彩も豊かで遠くからすぐ目に留まります。

　ところで、人間は同じ目、鼻、口、眉で構成されていても、何故、一人一人全く違った顔をしてるのでしょう。どこが違うのでしょう。それでも、私たちは人の顔を見れば瞬時に誰であるか分かります。人間の顔ほど不思議なものはありません。

　また、よく知ってる後輩に倉賀野駅のホームで会ったので「暫くでしたね。」と声を掛けましたが、全く反応しないので、どうしたことかと驚いたことがあります。

　最近では、校区の交通パトロールをしていたら、二人の女子児童が一緒にいて、そっくりで私には全く区別がつきません。いわゆる一卵性双生児の方々でしょう。

　それにしても、私たちは、その人がいなくても、人の顔を思い浮かべることができたり、夢にも出てきます。これも不思議なことです。また、外国に行っても、日本人に会うと日本人であることがすぐわかります。外国人と何が違うのでしょう。

失敗から学ぶ、天敵への対処

　今年は、９月中旬になっても「サルスベリ」が未だ満開です。昨年は開花が今一歩でしたが、それには理由がありました。それは蕾が出ないうちに私がよいと思って水を遣り過ぎたことです。水を与える時季は「蕾が出来てから」です。そうすると蕾が日に日に大きくなります。

　一方、サルスベリには天敵がいます。それは幹の途中に直径７mmほどの大きな穴を開け、中に卵を産み付けるカミキリムシです。最初、この穴を見たとき、人間の誰かがドリルで穴を開けたのかと思うほど大きく深い穴です。しかし、知らず内に開けるので防ぎようがないのが実態です。たくさん開けられれば枯れる可能性があります。

　私としては穴を発見し次第、穴の中に水道のホースで勢いよく水を注入して洗い流し、同じ太さのサルスベリの枝を切って穴の中に差し込み、金づちで打ち込みます。その後、サルスベリは年々成長してるので、この方法で対処してます。

　一方、天敵は未だいます。小さな赤い蟻です。やはり幹の中に巣を作り、その数は数千匹になります。これに対しては最近とても良い方法を考え出しました。それはガムテープです。粘着性がある面を表にして幹に巻きます。蟻は貼り付いてしまい、これで蟻は来なくなりました。何事も、一生勉強、一生青春でしょうか。

植物も人生も開花を夢見て日々一歩一歩

　「立てば芍薬、座れば牡丹、歩く姿は百合の花」は、健康で色艶やかな女性の立ち振る舞いを七七七五リズムに合わせて表現したもので、おそらく江戸時代の言葉ですが、私の家にはこのような人はおりません。

　しかし、この言葉の本来は、漢方薬としての「生薬の用い方」を述べたもので、それぞれの植物は特有の薬効を有しており、例えば、「立って痛い場合は芍薬を煎じて」という風に症状に応じて使い分けたのでしょう。

　ところで、私は庭でこの三種類の植物すべてを育ててます。しかし、深い意味はありません。これらの植物の開花は概して春から初夏にかけてでも、手をかけるのは一年中です。

　今春、写真の芍薬を直植えから掘り起こし、大きな植木鉢２つに分けて育ててます。理由は直植えだと他の植物の根が芍薬の根の中に侵入し、養分を吸い取るので花の勢いが今一歩です。ですから、来春は見事な開花を期待してます。

　芍薬については、以前に写真をアップしましたように、もう一種類が素晴らしく、時間をかけ増やす計画です。いずれにしても芍薬も牡丹も百合も花が大きく、その色彩が人目を惹きます。子どもの教育と同じで、植物を育てるには一年中休みがありません。牡丹も４種類がよく成長してます。このため、開花を夢見て今でも水遣りに勤しんでます。

　倉賀野で生まれ育った私はずっとここに住み続け、今後、どこかに引っ越すつもりはありません。歴史的にも倉賀野は災害の記録が殆どなく、小さな町であっても高崎線と八高線が通ってる「ＪＲ倉賀野駅」があり、東京など、どこへ行くにも便利です。

　倉賀野の歴史は古く、それは薬師寺内の古墳に残る彫刻の歴史を見ても分かります。また、倉賀野には５～６世紀に造られた巨大な古墳が５基現存します。町内は中仙道に沿って「京都に近い方から」今でも上町、仲町、下町と命名されており、１０００年以上の昔からこの町が続いている名残です。

　倉賀野と言う地名は、大河「烏川」が流れていることにより、この川の北側が数Ｋに亘って、１５ｍほどの高い崖が連なってます。つまり、倉賀野と言う地名は「崖の上にある野原」であったことに由来します。

　昔は崖のことを「倉」と呼び、全国でも断崖がある所には「倉」の文字が使われてます。このため倉賀野は「倉の上の野」と言うことから「倉賀野」と命名されたと推測できます。

　ところで、この度、「ようこそ！倉賀野」という歌があることが分かり、ご紹介いたします。

　I was born and raised at Kuragano-town in Takasaki-city, Japan and have lived here so far, and have no plans to move anywhere from now on. Historically, Kuragano has almost no record of disasters, and even though it is a small town, there is JR Kuragano-Station, which is connected to the Takasaki Line and Hachiko Line, making it convenient for going anywhere, including Tokyo directly.

　Kuragano has a long history, which can be seen by looking at the history of the carvings left on the ancient tomb within Yakushiji Temple. In addition, five huge old burial mounds built in the 5th and 6th centuries still exist in Kuragano. The town is still named Kami-cho, Naka-cho, and Shimo-cho along the Nakasendo road, "from the direction of Kyoto", and it is a remnant of the Kuragano's existence for over 1,000 years.

　The name Kuragano is due to the large river "Karas River" flowing in the south side, and the north side of this river is lined with high cliffs about 15 meters high and the distance is 4km. In other words, the name Kuragano comes from the fact that it was a "field on top of the cliff."

　In the old days, cliffs were called "kura", and the character "kura" is used in places with cliffs all over Japan. For this reason, it can be assumed that my town was named "Kuragano" because it was existed on "the field above the cliff."

若い「ねむの木」に、生きる力をもらう

　１週間前に築山を広げ、側面の２０～３０Kgの重たい石も手作業で並べ替えたら、案の定、翌日にひどい腰痛になりました。でも、張り薬と飲み薬が効きました。

　それにもめげず、底には以前に刈り込んだ枯れた草を肥料として敷き詰め、その上に土を入れ、ご覧の「ねむの木」を植えました。この「ねむの木」は庭に自然と生えたもので生育が早いです。

　植物も生まれながらにして生命力が強いものがあります。写真でも、少しだけ花が見えます。この「ねむの木」は素性がよく形も整っており、今後、１０年もすると樹高が３mになり、風流な樹形になると期待してます。

　と言うことは、私も１０年後を元気で居なくてはなりません。

　それには、私自身、低栄養を避け、体重を減らさぬようにします。また、脈拍が１１０以上に速くならない運動を継続します。大切なポイントは「年齢を重ねたら痩せないことを目標」にします。痩せると見た目のスタイルとは別に「臓器まで痩せ細り、臓器の機能が低下します。」一方、抗酸化作用を続けます。

　それにしても、「ねむの木」は、何故、夜になると葉が閉じるのでしょう。不思議な植物です。人間に似ているのでしょうか。

電車内の光景に驚く

　IT技術の普及で急速に広まったスマートフォンは瞬時にして国境のない世界に入ります。最も心配されるのは、未来ある子供たちの視力の低下、及び、私たちはサイバー空間が身近に存在しても、その危険性を忘れがちです。

　今や、スマホとコンピュータの処理能力に差が殆どなくなり、「便利という名のもとに、ひとときも手放すことができない」そんな人も少なくありません。

　その点で私が驚くのは、ベビーカーを押しながらスマホに目をやり続ける母親です。赤ちゃんは母の声や、母の子守歌が聞けなくてきっと不安でしょう。歩きスマホは当たり前、自転車スマホ、横断歩道を渡りながらのスマホ、デート中も互いに自分のスマホに目をやり続けるカップルもいます。心は繋がるのでしょうか。電車の中では９割以上の人が首を斜め３０°下に向け同じ姿勢でスマホを見ています。この光景には本当に驚いてしまいます。世の中はどうなっているのでしょう。

　昔、怖いものは「地震、雷、火事、親父」と言い、父は怖かったです。６人の子供を育てるために真剣に働いていたのでしょう。ですから、父とゆっくり話したことはなかったです。

　一方、私は４人いる祖父母に会っていません。私が生まれたとき４人ともすでに他界してました。ですから、祖父母や先祖の話を父からたくさん聞いておけば良かったと今、後悔してます。

入浴の帰りに、新鮮野菜をゲット

　今日は家を１１時に出て、お気に入りの「吉井ドリームセンター」で日頃の汗を流してきました。昼食時間に近いこともあり、今日も入浴客は私一人で、浴槽から牛伏山を眺めつつ、広いお風呂を楽しみました。

暫くぶりに「秋の月」を眺める

　９月7日午前１時に、たまたま東の空を見ると、誠に良く晴れ渡り、月齢２３の「下弦の月」が出てました。と共に、暫くぶりに「冬のダイアモンド」が出ており、季節が移り変わってることを実感です。

　昨日の倉賀野町「上四長寿会お知らせ版」には、カッキーズブログとして、私のブログ内容が掲載され感謝いたします。実は、その文章の隣に楽しい「シルバー川柳」が載ってましたので、併せて、ご紹介いたします。

　この中で、私も経験してることは、〇納得するまで計る血圧計、です。「こんなに高くはない筈だ」と、数値が下がるまで幾度も図ることがありました。

　確かに、測り続けると次第に低くなる時があります。これは椅子に座ってから時間が経つと心臓が次第に落ち着くからと考えられます。

　今回のシルバー川柳では、５つの作品すべてがとても愉快に感じました。特に、〇遺言書「すべて妻に」と妻の文字、そして、〇「アーンして」むかしラブラブいま介護、は光景が目に浮かびます。

　Yesterday, I was happy to read my blog content published as Kacky's Blog in Kuragano Town's "Kamiyon Longevity Association Announcement". 倉賀野町「上四長寿会お知らせ版」に掲載される

　今日、庭のブーゲンビリアの花を撮影しました。その後、それを家の中で拡大して見たところ、前の集会所の掲示板に新たな「上四長寿会お知らせ版」が映っているではありませんか。

　内容は写真を拡大すると読み易いです。ラジオ体操会で知り合った９０才の女性Ｍさんのお人柄や、健康的な生き方に私は深く尊敬しています。彼女は、どなたとも気軽に話をされ、日本舞踊をしていたこともあり、きちんと身体を動かし、日々、健康に一人で生活されてます。

　果たして、私は９０才になっても彼女のように、精神的に強く、人を頼らず、生き生き生活できるでしょうか。今後の私の見本です。

　Today, I took a photo of bougainvillea flowers in my garden. After that, when I magnified it by the computer in my room, I discovered a new "Longevity Association Announcement Edition" on the bulletin board in front of our meeting place.

笑えない話

　本当に今夏は暑かったです。しかし、暑い暑いと言っても３日後は二十四節気の一つ「白露」です。日の出時刻は夏至の頃より５２分遅くなり、今日の日の出は５時１８分【群馬県】でした。

　気は若いと思っていても、最近の私は夏の疲れが出てきたようです。原因はそれ以外に、最近、庭仕事でいくつもの重い石を動かしたからです。飲み薬と張り薬で対処してます。

　でも嬉しいことに、食欲はあるのです。しかも、肝心なお酒も美味しく感じてます。この二つは私の体調のバロメーターです。

   

　写真は、毎朝、「空腹時」に飲んでる「グレープフルーツ」です。この目的は本来、抗酸化作用【がん対策】です。しかし、これに含まれてるビタミンにより、疲労回復を感じてます。

　年齢を重ねると、疲労回復には「いつも同じ姿勢で過ごさないこと」がポイントの一つで、同じ姿勢は一見、楽ですが、結果的に疲れます。後は、十分な睡眠、適度に体を動かすことで筋肉や関節の可動範囲を広げます。一方、精神面で、人とよく話し、日常生活では笑いが大切と感じてます。しかし、私の場合、一人暮らしで笑っていると他の病気と疑われます。

懐かしいＴ-シャツ着てガーデニング

　ところで、将来、この築山で成長した「ねむの花」が見事に咲くでしょう。この下に丸いテーブルを置き、フェイスブック友人とビールで乾杯し、人生の喜びや音楽について語ります。尚、このすぐ近くがピアノの部屋なので、二次会にはもってこいの位置関係にあります。

景色の色が次第に変わります。

　ここは高崎市南東部に位置する土手で、前方の鏑川と手前の烏川の合流地点です。弓状をしたウォーキングコースはどちらの川に対しても堤防の役目をしています。
