10年後を見据え、枝ぶりを考える

　昨日は、本当に汗びっしょり搔きました。私が手ぬぐいで鉢巻きしてる姿をご想像ください。これで汗が顔に流れません。日中は暑いので作業せず、午後4時ごろから、一昨日に引き続き残りの作業を行いました。もちろん、小１の孫娘の面倒を見ながらです。

　作業内容は築山を広げた後、ご覧の通り、石垣を外側に広げ、積み直しました。重い石は推定５０～６０kgあり、手作業なので腰を痛めぬよう工夫しつつです。しかし、石の形はまちまちで積み木を重ねるような訳にはいきません。

　その後、先日刈った草を穴の底に敷き詰め、その上に土を被せ、上から水をかけて馴染ませました。そして、主役の「ねむの木」を、枝ぶりの方向を考え、１０年後には高さ３メートル以上になることを頭に描いて植えました。

　今朝見たら、生き生きして緑の葉が開き、根には元々の土が付いてるので植え替えは成功したようです。今朝から、再度、水を与えると共に、未だ、上部に土が少ないので土を被せます。

　ところで、将来、この築山で成長した「ねむの花」が見事に咲くでしょう。この下に丸いテーブルを置き、フェイスブック友人とビールで乾杯し、人生の喜びや音楽について語ります。尚、このすぐ近くがピアノの部屋なので、二次会にはもってこいの位置関係にあります。

　Not change the subject, but in the future, the grown "Silk Tree" on this artificial hill will bloom beautifully. I place a round table under this tree and toast with my Facebook friends over beers and talk about the joys of life and great music.
