一年を振り返る

　あと３日で２０２３年も暮れようとしています。この一年は皆さんにとって良い年だったでしょうか。それとも、どちらかというとあまり収穫がない年だったでしょうか。

　「少しでも前進できればよい」と自らの目標に向かって日々生活している高齢な私は、この一年を振り返ると、総じて良かったと今思ってます。しかし、音楽や英語はもともと遠大な目標である故、一歩一歩高山を登るかの如くです。この二つは来年も続けます。

　一方、ウォーキングと筋トレ、及び抗酸化作用に重点を置く結果でしょうか。総じて大きな病気もせず、体重はあまり減ってません。花が咲く植物の世話も十分楽しくできました。それにも増して、娘たち家族がみな元気なのでそれが最大の喜びで感謝です。

　ニュースで見る社会や世界は希望とは裏腹に不安定な状況にあります。しかし、私は自らの生活環境の改善に繋がるよう今までより一つ一つ積み重ねて行きます。

　In just three days, 2023 will be coming to the end. Has this past year been a good year for you? Or maybe it was a year with not much of a harvest?

　As an elderly person, I live my life every day toward my own purposes. "I could make even a little progress overall" when I look back on the past year. However I'm glad that since music and English are originally far-reaching purposes, it is like climbing a high mountain step by step. These two will continue next year as well.

　On the other hand, this may be due to the emphasis on walking, muscle training, and antioxidant effects. Overall, I don't have any major illnesses and I haven't lost much weight. I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of the flowering plants. On top of that, my daughters and their family are all healthy, which is the greatest joy for me and gratitude.

　Contrary to the hope that we see in the news, society and the world are in the unstable situation. However, I will continue to improve one step at a time so that I will improve my own living environment.
