花は人間のために、それとも、昆虫や野鳥のためにあるのか

　今日は幾分かひんやりしてますが、ここ数日の温かさで蕾が一気に開花し、まるで、楽しくおしゃべりしてるかの如くで、華やいだ雰囲気です。これはサイネリアです。私は前の道を通る人のために室外で育ててますが、雨の日には室内に入れます。そうすると一人暮らしで侘しく生活してる私の生活をパッと明るくしてくれます。

　こう考えると私には花がなくては、生きられないかもしれません。おっと、生きられないと言えば、音楽もなければ生きられません。私の場合、音楽で感銘するのは先ず、旋律が素晴らしいことです。それと共に、良く作曲された対位法で、べト八の第２楽章のように緻密に設計された対位法の美に胸を打たれます。同様に音楽で感銘するのは演奏家の奏でる音色です。
