新紙幣いよいよ出回る・・・最高値の日経平均株価

　写真左は芙蓉、右はハイビスカスです。同じような顔をして、いずれも互いに美を競うかの如く咲いてます。しかし、両方とも耐寒性に弱く、冬季は家の中で過ごさせました。今秋には庭に温室を作る予定で、今後は寒さ対策ができ、毎年、初夏からよく咲くでしょう。

　ところで、経済では今日から新１万円札、新５千円札、新千円札が紙幣として使われます。新たな紙幣は一万円札が「近代日本経済の父」と呼ばれる渋沢栄一、五千円札は日本で最初の女子留学生としてアメリカで学んだ津田梅子、千円札は破傷風の治療法を開発した細菌学者の北里柴三郎の肖像がデザインされてるとのことです。

　実は、この新紙幣を祝するかの如く、昨日の日経平均株価は４００７４円と史上最高値を記録しました。同様に、日本時間の昨夜から今朝にかけての米国ダウは３万９千ドル、ナスダック１８０００ポイントと急上昇してます。個人的に私は毎朝、ナスダックの動向に注目してます。

　ナスダックの特徴の1つは、テクノロジー関連銘柄であり、主に情報技術、ソフトウェア、インターネット関連の企業が多く上場してます。近年ではバイオテクノロジーやクリーンエネルギー企業も増加してます。 このため、革新性や成長性が高い企業が集まっており、世界の投資家にとって注目の的です。
