ＦＲＢによる大幅利下げを好感

　日本人が就寝中の昨晩から今朝にかけ、アメリカ経済は凄い動きをしました。

　現地時間で19日のニューヨーク株式相場は、米連邦準備制度理事会（FRB）による大幅利下げを好感し、買いが急反発です。優良株で構成するダウの上げ幅は前日終値比で4万2000ドル台、一方、ハイテク関連企業で構成するナスダックは1万8000台です。

　FRBは18日開いた連邦公開市場委員会（FOMC）で、「0．50％の政策金利引き下げ」を決定。利下げはコロナ危機時の2020年3月以来4年半ぶりであり、金融緩和策への転換による米景気の下支え期待が広がり、ダウ、及びナスダックともに大幅高です。

　この0．50％は誠に大きな政策金利引き下げで、週末の日本にも大きく影響し、拙い予想でも、今日の日経平均株価は大幅高が予想されます。

　今朝のダウは５２２ドル高の「４２、０２５ドル」、ナスダックは４４０高の「１８０１３．９８ポイント」。

　While most Japanese people were asleep, the US economy made a big move from last night to this morning.

    

　The New York stock market on the 19th local time was a sharp rebound in buying, as investors welcomed the large interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). The Dow rose by $42,000 from the previous day's closing price, while the Nasdaq, which is made up of high-tech companies, rose by 18,000.

　At the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting held on the 18th, the Fed decided to "cut the policy interest rate by 0.50%." This is the first interest rate cut in four and a half years since March 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis, and expectations are spreading that the shift to monetary easing will support the US economy, leading to a significant rise in both the Dow and the Nasdaq.

　This 0.50% cut in the policy interest rate is truly significant, and will have a major impact on Japan over the weekend. Even with my humble predictions, I expect the Nikkei average to rise significantly today.

　This morning Japan time, the Dow rose 522 points to 42,025, and the Nasdaq rose 440 points to 18,013.98 points.
