今の時季、暫く続く黄砂現象

昨日は、大陸のタクラマカン砂漠やゴビ砂漠からと想われる黄砂に悩まされた方は多かったことでしょう。一日中晴れてましたが、いつも見えてる故郷の原風景である上毛三山が全く見えませんでした。目がしょぼしょぼし、いくら瞬きしても治りません。私は若いのでしょうか。眼科医の話では「目を水道水で洗うのは良くない」とのことです。しかし、応急処置として自己判断で、お湯でさらっと洗い、その後、目薬で対応してました。今朝は大丈夫です。

　一方、今朝５時に窓を開け、南東の方向にある月齢２７の下弦の月は、ご覧の通り、水平線近くにあることから黄砂によりその輪郭がはっきりしてません。私の拙い考えでは、黄砂が今の季節にやって来る理由は「シベリアからの冷たい高気圧と暖かい太平洋高気圧の勢力が均衡してる今、その間を縫って「南西からの貿易風に乗って」遠く日本列島にやって来るのでしょう。

　この現象は今に始まったわけではなく、黄砂は平安時代も飛んでいたと考えられます。春は曙や、朧月夜や春霞などの風流な季語たちの背景には実は当時から黄砂の飛来があったと考えられます。

　ところで、庭では西洋シャクナゲが本格的に咲き始め、大きな植木鉢で咲いてるので、私は前の道近くまで運び、道を通る人にお見せしてます。大輪で赤のため遠くからも目立ちます。花の近くでしばらく眺めてる方もいます。種類の多いシャクナゲですから、開花したら順に写真でアップいたします。お近くの方は見にいらして下さい。

　Yesterday, many people living in Japan were troubled by yellow sand, which is thought to come from the Taklamakan Desert or Gobi Desert on the Asian continent. Though it was sunny all day, I couldn't see the well-known three mountains in Gumma Prefecture, which are the original landscape of my hometown that I can always see. My eyes are watery, and no matter how much I blink, it doesn't get better. Maybe I'm young. My ophthalmologist (oculist) told me that it's not good to wash our eyes with tap water. However, as a first aid measure, I decided to wash my eyes lightly with hot water and then use eye drops. I'm fine this morning without any problems.

　On the other hand, when I opened the window at 5am this morning, the waning moon which is 27 days old and located in the southeast, is as you can see, close to the horizon, so its outline is obscured by the yellow sand, I guess. In my humble opinion, the reason yellow sand comes at this season of year is because the cold high pressure from Siberia and the warm high pressure in the Pacific Ocean are in balance, therefore it weaves between them and comes to the faraway Japanese archipelago on the trade winds from the southwest.

　This phenomenon is not only new, but it is thought that yellow sand was flying around during the Heian period about one thousand years ago. It is thought that yellow sand has been flying around. we read these elegant seasonal words such as "spring dawns," "hazy moonlit night," and "spring haze in literature.

　Not change the subject, but the Western rhododendrons in the garden have started to bloom in earnest, and as they are blooming in a large flowerpot, so I have carried them to near the front way to show it to people passing by. Their large red flowers stand out from afar. Some people stand close to the flowers and admire them for a while.
