五輪真弓の「恋人よ」を喫茶「さんぽ道」で弾く

　今日は午前１０時頃から１時間ほど、お気に入り喫茶「さんぽ道」に行き、一人静かにホットコーヒーを味わいつつ、東に広がる広大な田畑の早春の景色を眺めてました。

　時間が早いため私以外に客はいなかったので、拙いピアノ演奏で初めて五輪真弓の「恋人よ」をE-mollで弾きました。私は知ってる歌の曲を弾くときは楽譜なしで弾き、左手は主要三和音と属７の和音をアルページョ風に弾くと不思議にそれらしくなります。このため、事前に「何調で弾くか」しっかり頭に入れなくてはなりません。

　実は、この曲は妻の葬儀でソプラノサックス演奏したのです。悲しい葬儀には意外とよく合う曲です。今日はピアノで弾きました。ピアノで旋律を弾くと意外としんみりし、別の味わいになります。今後パーティーなどでピアノを弾く機会があったら「恋人よ」をレパートリーの一曲に入れることにしました。

　Today, I went to my favorite coffee shop, "Sampo-michi," for about an hour from around 10 a.m., and quietly sipped hot coffee by myself while gazing at the early spring scenery of the vast fields spreading out to the east.

　Because it was early, there were no other customers, so I played Mayumi Itsuwa's "Koibitoyo" that means "Oh my sweetheart" in E minor for the first time by my clumsy piano playing. When I play songs that I know, I play without sheet music, and when I play primary triads and dominant seventh chords in arpeggio style with my left hand, it somehow sounds more authentic. For this reason, I have to decide in advance what key I should play.

　Actually, I played this music by soprano saxophone at my wife's funeral ceremony. This music surprisingly suits a sad funeral ceremony. Today I played it by the piano. Playing the melody by the piano is surprisingly melancholic and has a different profundity. I've decided to add this music to my repertoire if I have a chance to play the piano at a party or something in the future.
