将来に展望が持てる社会に

  　　

　今日は春らしい一日になりそうです。今朝、庭に出て撮影したラッパ水仙、雪柳、ハクモクレンです。自称「カッキー梅林」は満開の峠を過ぎ、１ヶ月間続いた紅梅たちのピンクの風景から、庭は次第に黄色や白に変化してきました。ラッパ水仙は、恰も保育園の子供たちのように、にこにこして一斉にこちらに顔を向けてます。

　ところが、日本の子供の出生数は年々減り続け、初の１００万人割れから８年も経たない昨年はついに７０万人程と急速に減り、少子化に歯止めがかかりません。今のままの少子化対策では成果が見られません。女性の就業率が上がることはとても良いことです。しかし、問題は「改善されない労働環境」と考えられ、低賃金の他に、例えば人手不足の職場の場合、産休や育休が取り難くいことも考えられます。

　これについては国の政策の他に、職場はもちろん、社会が一丸となり、日本人の問題として、この少子化に歯止めをかけなくてはなりません。

　このため、少しでもこれを解決する力になろうと、私たち倉賀野小の交通パトロール隊は、今まで下校時を中心に通学路と信号機付近で交通指導を行ってましたが、４月からパトロールの時間帯を登校時に変更することにしました。そして、会社勤めしてる「母親たちの朝の旗振り」を少なくしました。働く若い母親たちのための改善は、あらゆる社会で協力したいものです。

　It looks like a spring-like day today. I went out to the garden this morning and took photos of daffodils, snow willows, and white magnolias. The daffodils are all smiling and looking at me like kindergarten children.

　However, as you notice, the number of children born in Japan continues to decrease year by year, and last year was less than eight years ago when it first fell below one million, it finally dropped rapidly to about 700,000, and the declining birthrate is not being stopped still now. The declining birthrate can not brake. We can not achieve the result of anti-declining birthrate as it was. It is a very good thing that the employment rate of women is increasing. However, the problem is thought to be "unimproved working conditions." In addition to low wages, for example, in case of workplaces with a labor shortage, it is also possible that it is difficult to take maternity leave or childcare leave.

　In addition to national policies, society as a whole, including workplaces, must come together to tackle the declining birthrate as a problem for all Japanese people.

　To that end, in an effort to help in any way we can think this issue, the Kuragano Elementary School traffic patrol team has until now been providing traffic guidance on the school route and near traffic lights, mainly on the way home from school. However, from next April we decided to change our patrol hours to the time children are coming to school in the morning, and to eliminate the "morning flag-waving by working mothers." We hope that all societies will work together to improve for working mothers.
