「カッキー梅林」満開に！

　私の家の前は「上四地区集会所・ふるさと」です。今朝、その庭から我が家の方を見て「しだれ梅」を撮影しました。一昨日の降雪にも負けず、今日は満開です。枝ぶりに優しさがあり、色彩は早春を表し、何より樹形にバランスがとれてます。年間を通じて、剪定や水遣りの成果が出たと内心ホッとしてます。画像をクリックしますと臨場感が出るでしょう。

　この他、今朝は１本の梅で紅白に咲く「思いのまま」も満開にです。こちらは先日の雪で根から水分をしっかり吸収したのでしょう。天気の良い今日は見頃になります。いずれにしても、現在、種類の異なる５本の花梅すべてが満開です。本物をぜひ見にいらして下さい。駐車場とお茶は完備です。

　ところで、８年ほど前の大雪でこの枝垂れ梅は前の道の方に大きく傾いてしまい、道を塞ぐので、どうにもならないと私は落胆してしまいました。仕方なく、外に出てしまった大きな枝を切り落としました。

　実は結果的に、これが功を奏し、栄養分が他の枝に行き渡ったのでしょう。却って樹形が良くなるのですから梅は不思議です。昔の人の言い伝え通り、梅は枝を切ることにより、つまり、大胆に剪定すことに因り、一層よく咲くようになり、樹形が自然に整うことを実感してます。

　私たちは何か一つの失敗をしたり、思うようにいかないことがあります。しかし、その後も挫けず前進を続け、長い目で見ると、その失敗を通じて結果的に良くなることもあるものです。失敗に挫けず、日々、前進する気持ちこそ大切であると、この「しだれ梅」を通じて実感してます。寂しくとも今日も一日、希望を持って生活したい。

　In front of my house is the Kami-4th District Community Center "Furusato". This morning, I looked towards my house from the garden and took a photo of a weeping plum tree. Despite the snowfall the day before yesterday, it is in full bloom this morning. The branches are gentle, the colors represent early spring, and above all, the tree shape is ideal balanced. 　In addition, this morning, a single plum tree with bicolor named ``Omoi no mama,'' was in full bloom. This tree must have absorbed moisture from its roots due to the snowfall the other day. Today, with the fine weather, it will be at its best. In any case, all five different kinds of flowering plum trees in my garden are in full bloom at the moment. Please come and see the real view. 　By the way, about eight years ago, a heavy snowfall caused this weeping plum tree to lean significantly toward the road in front of the garden, and it was blocking it, and I was disappointed that I couldn't do about it. I had no choice but to cut off the large branches that had grown out.

　In fact, this turned out to be a good idea, as the nutrients were distributed to the other branches. It is amazing how plum trees actually improve the shape of the tree. As the old saying goes, by cutting the branches of plum trees, in other words, by pruning them boldly, they bloom better that before and the tree shape improves naturally.

　In our daily life, we often tend to mistake or things don't go as planned. However, if we continue to move forward without being discouraged, and in the long run, that failure can actually turn out to be for the better. Through this weeping plum tree, I have come to realize that it is important to not be discouraged by failure and to have the desire to move forward every day. Even if I feel lonely, I want to live today with hope.
