Dear my friends who are crazy about astronomical phenomenon and great music.
The simultaneous interpretation into English for our mutual understanding will be done after my breakfast in Japan time.

Today is September 6th according to the Solar calendar. However, according to the lunisolar calendar (old calendar), it is the 15th of July, which means tonight is the 15th moon. However, the 15th moon does not always coincide with a full moon. For this reason, before the Edo period until 1872 (Meiji 5), today was considered "O-Bon" (a Buddhist festival), and when people went to visit their ancestors' graves in the evening, the full moon would conveniently appear in the eastern sky. In this way, life in the past, without electricity, was closely tied to the moon, I guess.
By the way, Typhoon 15, which struck the eastern coast of Japan, caused tremendous damage, with news reports showing cars being lifted into the air and roofs being blown off houses. The air pressure above probably dropped to near vacuum levels. On the other hand, this morning, after the typhoon passed, the air cleared, and our radio gymnastics in the park under a clear autumn sky. The sounds of crickets make us feel the change of seasons.
As I mentioned earlier, tonight is the 15th moon. However, the moon's phase is actually 14 days old. According to experts' calculations, the full moon that appeared on the evening of September 7th will undergo a lunar eclipse, in fact, on the earlier morning of September 8th, which will be the first such event in a while.
As you know, this phenomenon occurs only on full moon nights, when the moon is on the opposite side of the sun. Since the Earth casts a shadow in space, and the moon orbits the Earth counterclockwise, therefore, the eclipse begins on the left side of the moon seen in the Northern Hemisphere. This is because the moon enters the Earth's shadow from the right side.
