　皆さんと交流が楽しみなフェイスブックと共に、ブログも発信してます。ブログは個人のホームページですから、検索によって、どなたにもアクセスして戴いてます。気づいたら１８年間も続けてるので、ブログ記事数は５６００になりました。よく書いたものです。元々、レース鳩飼育と、その訓練について日々の飼育法を書き始めました。このため、ブログのタイトルは今でも Persimmon Marsh Loft になってます。訳せば柿沼鳩舎です。

　しかし、一人暮らしは鳩に餌をやるより、自らの食事作りや、健康維持に集中しなくてはならず、好きだったレース鳩飼育を１０年ほど前に終了しました。その代わり、現在は庭で各種の植物栽培、ピアノ演奏の楽しみ、生活に結びついた英単語・熟語の習得、愛車で日帰り温泉へのドライブ、小学生や高齢者のための地区の仕事などに楽しみを見出してます。このため、ブログ内容はこれらに関することが多いですが、ブログを書くことは、載せる写真から始まって本来的に「発想が柔軟でなくてはならず」、今朝も５時頃より無い頭を絞ってます。

　ところで、驚いたことに最近はアクセス数が多いです。今までは一日に２００件前後でしたが、１週間前から毎日５００件程のアクセスが連続してあります。理由は不明です。どこかで紹介があったのでしょうか。アクセスが多いのは嬉しいです。しかし、内容が共なわなくてはなりません。

　一般に物事を始めるのは簡単でも、それを継続するのは難しいです。このため三日坊主の可能性がありましたが、皆さんのアクセスやコメントに支えられてます。私たちが物事を続けるにはどうすればよいかです。私の考えでは、自分で後には引けないような状況を作り、そこに我が身を置く以外になさそうです。

　In addition to Facebook, where I enjoy interacting with everyone, I also have a weblog. Since blog is a personal homepage, anyone can access it through search. I've been writing it for 18 years, and I've reached 5,600 posts. I thought I've written a lot. I originally started out writing about the racing pigeon's training and writing about their daily care methods. That's why the title of my blog is still "Persimmon Marsh Loft," which translates to Kakinuma Pigeon Loft.

　However, living alone needs that I have to focus more on preparing my own meals and maintaining my health than on feeding the pigeons, so I stopped keeping about 100 racing pigeons, which I loved, about 10 years ago. Instead, I now find joy in growing various plants in my garden, playing the piano, learning English words and phrases relevant to my daily life, driving my Audi TT Quattro coupe to day trips to spars, and doing community work for elementary school students and the elderly. For this reason, the content of my blog is often related to these things, but writing a blog which is starting with the photos to post, essentially requires a flexible mindset, and I must rack my brain since around 5am this morning.

　By the way, I'm surprised by the number of hits I've been getting recently. Until now, I got only around 200 hits a day, but for the past week, I've been getting around 500 hits every day. I'm not sure the reason. Perhaps my blog was introduced somewhere. I'm happy to have so many hits. However, the content has to be relevant and abundant.

　Generally, it's easy to start something, but difficult to continue it. For this reason, it tends to give up after three days, but everyone's hits and comments have supported me. Therefore I could continue writing it. In my opinion, the only way is to create a situation from giving up, and then put myself in that situation not to escape.
