本当によく咲いてる黄色い水仙

　今日も良く咲いてる黄色い水仙です。元々、父が６０年前に数本を植えたものが庭のあちこちに咲いてました。その後、数年前に私がすべてを集めて、この築山に植えたところ、日当たりが良いのと、水遣りが楽にできることから生き生き成長し、毎年よく咲くようになりました。

　よく咲く理由のもう一点は高さ８０cmほどの築山のため、私が腰をかがめたず、立ったまま楽に世話ができることです。それにしても、年々株数が増えました。私が一人で観賞してるのではもったいないです。未だ、当分の間、咲いているでしょう。写真右の大きい樹木は源平枝垂れ桃で、左のS字状の木は八重の枝垂れ桜の幼木です。

  These yellow daffodils are blooming beautifully today as well. Originally, my late father planted a few daffodils 60 years ago, and they bloomed all over the garden. A few years ago, I gathered them all and planted them on this artificial mound named Tsukiyama. Because they get plenty of sunlight and is easy for me to water, they've grown vigorously and now bloom profusely every year.

  Another reason they bloom so well is that the mound is about 80cm high, so I can easily take care of them while standing without bending down. Even so, the number of daffodils has increased year by year. It's wasteful that I'm enjoying alone. They'll probably continue blooming from now on as well. The large tree on the right in the photo is a Bicolored Genpei weeping peach tree, and the S-shaped tree on the left is a young double-flowered weeping cherry tree.
