魅力ある谷川岳一帯を散策したい

　浅間山山頂を始め、尾瀬の至仏山など群馬県の山の殆どを登った私は、中でも素晴らしい自然の一つは谷川岳と感じてます。それは天神平経由で山頂まで登ったことがあり、景色は最高でした。それとは別に、山頂の上空から魅力いっぱいの谷川岳を見たこともあります。つまり、ヘリコプターに乗り、空から谷川岳一帯を眺めました。

　今年も、健脚を期して、夏季に谷川岳一帯を散策する予定です。普段、ウォーキングで鍛えているので大丈夫でしょう。もちろん、下山後はお気に入りの谷川温泉でリラックスします。

日没でシルエットになった荒船山

　私の家から見た今日の日没です。太陽が沈む位置は群馬県の西南に位置するテーブルマウンテン「荒船山・標高１４２３m」の少し北側になりました。あいにく雲がかかってましたが、太陽はキラキラ輝き、荒船山がシルエットです。日没は１７時２５分でした。

　この風景は、その名の通り、荒海を進む船の如しです。すでに荒船山に４回登頂しましたが、今年、もう一度登りたいと思います。

　This is today's sunset as seen from my house in Takasaki-city at Kuragano-town. The sun set a little north of Mt. Arafune (1,423m above sea level) which is a table mountain located in the southwestern Gumma Prefecture. Unfortunately, there were clouds, but the sun was shining brightly so that Mt. Arafune formed a silhouette. Sunset was at 5:25pm.

初日の出が見られます。写真は日没です。

　私の家は一見して二階建ての日本家屋ですが、山小屋風の屋根裏部屋があるので事実上は三階です。一年に一度ほど景色のよいここでパーティーを開きます。ここから見える景色は上毛三山の他、浅間山、谷川連峰、そして、毎年、地平線から昇る初日の出が見られます。

　写真は先日の日没の光景で、西南に聳えるテープルマウンテン荒船山の頂上の中央に沈む日没です。この光景は一年に幾度も見られませんから貴重です。それは天気に因りますし、見落としもあります。次回は２月上旬です。

　以前に書きましたが、この頂上から５羽のレース鳩を放したことがあります。距離は約５０Kです。鳩は私より早く全部帰って来ました。上信県境に聳えるこの山が好きな私は、また行きたいのですが、昨今は熊の出没の可能性があり、長生きしたい私は一人で行くことはしません。周囲は深さ２００mほどの断崖絶壁ですから熊が出たら逃げられません。家で眺めていればこのような光景が見られます。

I love this mountain that stands on the border of Nagano and Gumma Prefecture, and If possible, I would like to go again, but as you know, recently there is a possibility of bears appearing. I want longevity still now, so I won't go alone. It is surrounded by perpendicular cliffs about 200 meters deep, so if a bear appears, there is no way to escape, except for Heaven. ウォーキング中、いろいろ目に入り脳の刺激になる

　群馬県には飛行場がありません。しかし、日本のほぼ中央に位置することから四方八方から飛行機が飛び交う様子が見えます。ジェット音はほとんど聞こえませんが、ご覧の通り、約１万m上空の成層圏に飛行機雲が度々見えます。

　写真の飛行機雲はその角度から推測すると、関西方面行きと新潟方面行きが行き交ったのかもしれません。

　四月中旬となり気候が穏やかな先日、鏑川と烏川の合流地点をウォーキング中、ふと空に目をやると飛行機雲が印になっており、すぐにシャッターを切りました。

　でも、何か悪い虫の知らせのようにも感じ、最近の自らの行動を振り返ってみましたが、飛行機雲は直に消えてしまい、ああ良かったと安心し、せっせと歩きました。それにしても歩いた後の一杯は格別です。おっと、この✖印は「今夜はお酒をやめなさい。」という意味か。

眺めて良し、登って良しの「榛名山」

　写真は私のお気に入り、高崎市の「牛伏山」山頂からの景色で、中央に連なる山は上毛三山の一つ「榛名山」です。この山は多くの峰々が連なってますが、今まで、その殆どを登りました。しかし、昨今は熊の出没があることから、一人での登山はしてません。

　このフェイスブックの最初を飾ってる円錐形をした山の写真も、右から2番目の峰である雌岳(めだけ)山頂から最も右の水沢山を撮ったものです。最初にこの光景に出合ったとき、あまりの美しさに心から感銘したものです。この水沢山周辺が日本列島のほぼ真ん中と言われてます。

　高崎市の児童生徒は、この榛名山の雄姿を仰ぎ見つつ通学することから、多くの小中高の校歌は、この山の気高さと人としてあるべき品格を重ね合わせ、歌われてます。見かけ上、最も高い峰は相馬岳で、この山頂からの景色は関東平野と利根川の蛇行はもちろん、富士山が大きく見えます。

　また、榛名山の中で有名なのは標高１０８０m付近の「榛名湖」です。周囲４キロほどの広大なカルデラ湖で、時折、私はマイナスイオンを感じつつ榛名湖一周ウォーキングをします。季節とともに山容の色彩が変化し、帰路には伊香保の「日帰り温泉」に立ち寄りるのが、孤独にして自由な人生の楽しみになってます。

　Children in Takasaki City walk to school looking up at the majestic sight of Mt. Haruna, so many school songs for elementary, junior high, and high schools are sung this mountain, emphasizing the nobility of this mountain and a person should have the dignity like this majestic figure. Apparently, the highest peak is Mt. Soma, and the view from this summit includes not only the Kanto Plain and the meandering Tone River, but also Mt. Fuji which is the highest in Japan.

　Also, the most famous part of Mt. Haruna is "Lake Haruna" which is around 1080m above sea level. Lake Haruna is a vast caldera lake with a circumference of about 4 km, and I sometimes walk around Lake Haruna while feeling the minus ions. The colors of the mountains change with the seasons, and on the way home, stopping at a day trip hot spring in famous Ikaho Spar has become a pleasant way of living for me who is a lonely and free everyday.

一昨日の喉が痛みが、今日は回復

　１０月末というのに、玄関前のハイビスカスが３つも咲いてます。今年はもう咲かないと思っていたのに、急に咲くのですから、予想外にいいこともあるものです。

　実は、一昨日の晩は東京・新宿に居ました。都庁ビルなど超高層ビル群が建ち並ぶ目抜き通りは余りの人の多さに驚きました。そのため、帰宅してから昨日まで喉が痛くなりました。純真無垢な田舎者(？)にとって都会の空気は合わないようです。今日は大分回復です。

　このため、お気に入りの「吉井ドリームセンター」まで、青い車でドライブしました。そしたら嬉しいことがありました。何と「今日は入浴料金が要りません。」と言われました。あっそうか、今日１０月２８日は群馬県民の日で、公立の施設は無料です。こんな日がちょいちょいあるといいですね。

　Even though it's the end of October, three hibiscus trees are blooming in front of the entrance. I thought it wouldn't bloom again this year, but it suddenly blooms, so sometimes it's unexpectedly good.

　Actually, I was in Shinjuku ward, in Tokyo, at the night before yesterday. 楽しみな天神平～坤六峠への紅葉狩り・・もうすぐ

　軽のバンがあることから、Audi TT quattroにあまり乗ることが少なく、今日の午後、わざわざ乗りました。倉賀野バイパスの広い国道経由で岩鼻まで行き、旧国道17号を西に戻り、体力増強のため「クスリの青木」で牛乳や豆乳などを購入し、４kmほど乗りました。

　これでバッテリーは大丈夫でしょう。本格的な秋になったら、助手席に彼女を載せ、谷川岳天神平～群馬県最北の奈良俣ダム～「坤六峠」を周遊し、群馬県で最もきれいな「紅葉の名所めぐり」をドライブします。それまで、車の調整と私の体調を絶好調に鍛え上げます。

　Since I have a light van vehicle, I don't ride the Audi TT quattro very often, so I went out of my way to ride it this afternoon. I went to Iwahana-town via the wide national road of Kuragano-Bypass, returned west on the old National Route 17. 青春に 登った山々 毎日見える

　日没後、私の家の窓から、群馬の西北西の山岳を見ますと、活火山の浅間山(標高２５６８m)、及び浅間隠山(標高１７５７m)が際立って高く見えます。後者は地元の倉渕では川浦富士とも呼ばれてます。

　実は、どちらの山にも、私は若き日に少なくとも３回は登頂してます。浅間山山頂は標高があるだけに、見渡す限りパノラマで、北アルプスや富士山、そして関東平野が望め、景色は抜群です。しかし、活火山のため、常に推定１００mほどの垂直の火口の底や崖から火山特有の匂いを伴った噴煙が出てます。火口は断崖絶壁で柵はなく、足を滑らせたら蟻地獄です。

　一方、浅間隠については、登山道は急ですが、それ程の危険はありません。こちらも山頂からの景色はパノラマで、関東平野の遠方までよく見渡せます。

　この両方の山頂はどちらも樹木など障害物がなく、群馬の山の中では山頂からの景色は群を抜いてます。私には山のベテランの友が二人いましたが、両者ともすでにこの世を去り、私はもう山登りはしません。その代わり、青い愛車で温泉を含め、これからも群馬の自然を大いに堪能したいと思います。それにしても、旅は道連れです。

　After sunset, looking out of the window of my third story, I can see the active volcano named Mt. Asama (altitude 2568m) and Mt. Asamakakushi (altitude 1757m). The latter is also called Kawaura-Fuji in the local Kurabuchi-town area.

　Actually, I climbed both mountains at least three times when I was young, of course still young in heart. The summit of Mt. Asama is so high that we can see the Northern Alps, Mt. Fuji, and the vast Kanto Plain as far as the eye can see. However, because it is an active volcano, volcanic fumes with a peculiar volcanic smell always come out from the bottom of the crater and perpendicular cliffs which is estimated to be about 100m deep. The crater is the same as ant hell with no fences.

　On the other hand, as for Mt. Asamagakushi, the mountain trail is steep, but not so dangerous. The view from the summit is also panoramic, so that we can see the Kanto Plain far into the distance.

　Both of these peaks have no obstacles such as trees, therefore the views from the peaks are outstanding among the mountains in Gumma prefecture. I had two friends who were mountain veterans, but both of them have passed away, so I won't climb mountains anymore. Instead, I would like to continue enjoying Gumma's nature, including hot springs, by my blue car. When shared, joy is double and sorrow halved.

北へ移動する日没地点 日に日に早まる

　群馬県の西南～西北には、上信越県境の山並みが連なってます。この中で、ご覧のユニークなテーブルマウンテンは「荒船山」【標高１４２３m】です。まるで大海を進む船のようです。覚えているだけで２０代から私は４回登頂しました。近年では左の高い地点からレース鳩を飛ばし、我が家まで帰還させたことがあります。

　国立天文台によると、群馬県の日没時刻は１７時２９分ですが、実際には、山岳なのでこれより１０分ほど早まります。しっかり日没を鑑賞すると地球が刻々と自転してる事実を自分の目で確認できます。

いつ見ても ユニークな山容 荒船山

　写真は昨日、日没直後に撮りました。私の家の窓から見て西南西の方角にある荒船山【１４２３m】です。絵に描いたように典型的なテーブルマウンテンで、子供の頃から「不思議な形をした山」と感じてました。このため、今まで４回登頂しました。

　端から端まで歩くと１時間ほどかかり、周囲は２００mほどの断崖絶壁で滑落したら一巻の終わりです。もちろん、柵はありません。ですから逆に景色は最高で、日本アルプス、大きな浅間山、そして、眼下に広い神津牧場が見えます。

　倉賀野から見て、現在の日没の方角は、この荒船山よりもっと南です。そういえば、最初に登った高校生のとき、登山中の苦労や、登頂した喜びの印象を作曲したことがあります。

　残念にも、その楽譜はどこかに行ってしまいました。もしかして、シューベルトの「未完成」のように作曲家の死後３０年ほどして楽譜が発見されるでしょうか。その時は「荒船シンフォニー」と命名してください。
