日の出の「時刻と位置」に変化が生じてます。

　今春は花梅の中に暮らしている感じです。玄関へ行くにも紅白の梅のトンネルの中を通って行くようになりました。樹木は年々成長し、今春は本当によく咲いてます。先日写真を載せました「枝垂れ紅梅」が咲いてるは倉賀野で私の庭だけかもしれません。樹形に見応えが生じてきました。一方、色彩に関しては、先日の降雪が功を奏し、却って鮮やかになり、自然は良く出来てます。

　私は園芸に素人ですが、年間を通じて剪定してます。「樹形は一つの芸術である」と捉え、余分な枝を剪定したり、伸ばしたい枝をそのまま育てます。肝心なことは、樹木を「四方八方」から眺めます。これは樹木のバランスに限らず、子供の教育や自分自身の生活など他の分野にも通じることかもしれません。

　ところで、立春のあと三寒四温が繰り返され、今年は特に寒い日が続きました。しかし、１０日後の「春分の日」を目前に、いよいよ春らしくなる気配です。今日の日の出は６時で、太陽高度は驚きの５０°に達します。因みに冬至では３０°でした。毎朝、公園でラジオ体操してるので、日の出が日に日に北に移動してることに気づきます。春分の日は「世界中で太陽は真東から」上がります。

I believe that the shape of the tree is an art form, so I prune unnecessary branches and let the branches I want to raise as they are. The important thing is to look at the tree from "all sides". 今日で「小寒」が終わります。

　今朝、庭で確認しましたが、紅梅の蕾は大分膨らんできましたが、未だ咲いてません。例年そろそろなので、きっと来週には咲くでしょう。咲いたら写真をアップします。最初に咲くのは品種名「鹿児島」で情熱の深紅です。

　いよいよ今日で二十四節気の「小寒」が終わります。一体、「小寒」とは何でしょう。

　反時計回りに公転してる地球が一周９億４千万㎞(1天文単位×２π)ある公転軌道上のある宇宙空間に差し掛かっていることを言います。深夜０時に真南を見ると、そこには「ふたご座」が輝いてます。今の季節では、すべて１等星で出来てる巨大な「冬のダイアモンド」が日本列島を覆うかのごとく輝いてます。その左上の一角を成すのが「ふたご座」であり、私たちを載せた地球は現在、「ふたご座」の方角にが来ています。これが「小寒」です。

　一方、現在の日本は年間で最も寒い季節です。この理由は何でしょう。

　地軸は常に公転面に対して約２３．５傾斜しているからです。現在、「地軸の先端である北極点が太陽から離れてます。」結果的に北半球では太陽の角度が下がり、今日の正午の群馬県の太陽の角度は地平線に対し３１°です。因みに夏至の頃は７７°です。

　毎日寒くても、私たちは身体を動かし、血流の改善を図ることが大切です。スムースな血流よって新たな事が考えられたり、生活に活気(カッキー)が出て来るでしょう。今日・明日、お気に入り喫茶「さんぽ道」が休みなので家でホットコーヒーを入れ、身体を内部から温めてみます。日中、少し暖かくなったら庭で樹木の世話をし、午後には街に出かけたい。

明朝から日の出時刻が早まります。【群馬県】

　皆さん、今日は西高東低の気圧配置で本当に寒いですね。日の出時刻は１月3日～今日１月９日までが最も遅く６時５６分【群馬県】でした。ところが、嬉しいことに、地球の動きは明日から変化し、日の出が６時５５分に変わります。寒くても春は確実に近づいてます。今後、日の出は日に日に早くなり、２月３日の立春には６時４４分になります。

　一方、日の入りについては、すでに大分伸びて来てることを実感されてるでしょう。日の入り時刻が最も早かったのは１２月４日～１２月８日で１６時２８分でした。今日１月９日の日の入りは先程の１６時４６分でしたから、すでに１８分も陽が伸びてます。今後、日の入りはますます遅くなり、２月３日の立春には１７時１２分となり、１２月上旬の日の入りより４４分も陽が伸びます。

　ところで、今宵の月は上弦の月で、すでに天高くにあります。ご覧くださいね。月の近くには「木星」が輝き、対照的に西南の空には「金星」が輝いてます。なお、今宵の月が西の空に沈むとき、弦が上になるので上弦の月です。それにしても、月面は私の青春時代のようです。

　図は、３０°と７７°の角度を示しています。この角度は、一体、何を表しているでしょうか。

　実はこの二つの角度について、３０°は今の季節【１月２日正午】の地平線からの太陽の角度【群馬県】を示してます。一方の７７°は夏至の頃の正午の太陽の角度です。太陽の高さは季節によってずいぶん差があることが分かります。

　結果的に、現在、窓から差し込む太陽光は部屋の奥にまで届いており、これは正午の角度ですから、午前や午後には、より奥まで太陽の光が差し込みます。このため、冬は部屋の奥まで陽が当たり、部屋全体が温かくなる自然の有難さを私たちは日常生活で体験してます。

　ところが、この太陽の光が室内の奥に置いてある「めがね」や鏡、水の入ったペットボトル、金属類などに長時間当たると、場合によっては、それが「凸レンズの役目を果たし」、太陽光が一点に集中し、高熱となり、そこに燃えやすいものがあると自然発火の可能性があります。これから未だ、暫くの間は部屋の奥まで太陽光が届くので、カーテンを閉めたり、前述の物をしまったり、光が当たらないようにして、火災を未然に防ぎましょう。

　ところで、季節による太陽光の角度の差は７７°－３０°＝４７°あります。この４７°を２で割ると２３．５°となり、この度数は、丁度、北回帰線と南回帰線の緯度に等しいです。

「小雪」における地球の公転上の位置

　昨日は二十四節気の一つ「小雪」でした。宇宙空間に浮き、太陽の周囲を秒速約２９ｋｍのスピードで反時計回りに公転してる私たちを載せた地球は「小雪」の日に、９憶４千万㎞ある公転軌道上の一体どの辺を周遊中でしょうか。これを知るには「午前0時に真南を見る」ことです。

　最近、空気が澄んで来たので星がよく見えるようになりました。すべて一等星で形作られてる「冬のダイアモンド」は現在、日本列島の頭上に来ています。その６角形のダイアモンドの一番下に「おおいぬ座」の「シリウス」が一際明るく輝いてます。その右上に有名な「オリオン座」があり、「オリオン座」のすぐ上に「牡牛座」の一等星「アルデバラン」が輝いてます。

　この「アルデバラン」が今の季節の午前０時に、真南に輝いてますから、「小雪」の日に地球は「アルデバラン」の方向に差し掛かっています。そのすぐ右上に星の塊である「スバル星団」も確認できます。こちらは南西諸島のほぼ頭上です。私たちを載せた地球は現在どの辺を通過中であるか意識すると、次々変わる星空の景色が見られ、季節も感じられて楽しいものです。地軸が２３．５°傾いたまま公転してることで、これから北半球は真冬となり、南半球は真夏になります。

　今日１０月２３日は二十四節気の「霜降」です。文字通り、そろそろ霜が降りる頃です。しかし、コスモスが咲き、ハイビスカスがこれからも咲きそうで蕾が膨らんでます。実は、今朝咲きました。これからは晩秋の佇まいになり、私の住む群馬県でも山岳地帯では紅葉が見頃となってます。

　ところで、二十四節気の「霜降」では、「私たちを載せた地球は、一周およそ９億４千万㎞ある公転軌道上のどの辺を進んでいるでしょうか。」

　宇宙空間において、特に目印となるものは地球の軌道の近くにありません。このため、地球から考えられないほど遠く離れたところにある黄道十二星座で判断します。私たちは午前０時に真南にある星座を見て、現在の地球の公転軌道上の位置を判断します。

　現在、有名な「魚座」が午後１０時頃に真南にあります。この星座はインドの形に似ていて分かりやすいです。この「魚座」は午前０時には少し西に移動してます。つまり、現在の地球は「魚座」の東にある「牡羊座」の方向に来ています。なお、「牡羊座」のすぐ東には５～７個の小さな星が集まり神秘な景観を呈する「スバル星団」があります。肉眼ではこちらの方が良く確認できます。私たち地球人は季節と共に周遊する地球の公転上の位置を認識して生活したいものです。

　一方、午前０時に最も明るい一等星「シリウス」が、すでに南東の空に輝いてます。そして、日に日に真南に向かってます。この「シリウス」が午前０時に真南に来ると、ついに令和７年１月１日です。

　Meanwhile, Sirius, the brightest first magnitude star in the space at midnight, is already shining in the southeastern sky. As it is passing day, it is moving the direction of due south. When Sirius reaches due south at midnight, it will finally be January 1, 2025.

次第に寒冷となる本当の理由

　左の写真は５日ほど前に撮り、右の写真は今朝、ラジオ体操会場に行く前に撮りました。どちらも同じ庭のマユミです。昨日、一昨日と気温が急激に下がり、秋の深まりが植物の色の濃さで見て取れます。ついに、私も今朝のラジオ体操会では薄いセーターを着て参加しました。

　「このように気温が下がる最も大きな原因は何でしょう。」

　これは低気圧や寒冷前線が日本列島に居座ったことも原因ですが、こちらは大陸から高気圧が移動して来れば多少温かくなります。

　ですから、もっと大きな根本原因は、地球が公転軌道上を反時計回りに「地軸を２３．５°ほど傾斜したままで公転してる」ことに因ります。結果的に、北半球では太陽高度が日に日に低くなりつつあるからと考えられます。逆に、南半球では太陽高度が日に日に高くなり、次第に暑くなります。ニュージーランドのFB友人スペンスさん、そちらの気候はどうでしょうか。

　因みに、調べてみると、今日１０月１０日の正午の太陽高度は４６°【群馬県】です。なお、夏至では７７°であり、冬至では３０°になります。自然の色彩の変化を観察することで、私たちは季節感を感じます。いよいよ、群馬県北部の谷川岳、そして尾瀬ケ原では紅葉が始まり、次第に平野にやって来つつあります。今年もあと８２日。

早朝はすでに秋の空です。

　今朝の日の出は５時【群馬県】で、調べてみると、日の出の方角は真北から計って７０°です。ご存じの通り、４２日後の「秋分の日」は地球上のどこから見ても太陽は真東から昇ります。

　ところが、北極点では「秋分の日」の太陽は半分顔を出したままで東～南～西～北の順で水平線を一周します。一方、南極点では「秋分の日」に太陽は半分顔を出したまま、その動きは逆に、「東～北～西～南の順」で地平線を一周します。この動きは日本では考えられない現象で、頭に入れておきましょう。

　それにしても、写真の通り、群馬県の今朝の空は真っ青で、すでに秋の気配です。でも、日中は連日猛暑ですから、喉が渇く前に水分補給です。私は多少涼しくなる夕方６時頃から倉賀野をウォーキングします。目的は足腰の鍛錬と空腹になることです。【内緒ですが、実際はビールが美味しくなることです。】

　This morning the sun rose at exactly 5am in my Gumma Prefecture. By checking, I found that the direction of sunrise is just 70° from due north. As you know, on the autumnal equinox day 42 days from now, the sun will rise due east no matter where you look on earth including your nation.

　However, at the North Pole, on the autumnal equinox day the sun remains half-exposed as it circles the horizon in the order east-south-west-north. On the other hand, at the South Pole, on the autumnal equinox day the sun remains half-exposed as it circles the horizon in the order east-north-west-south. This sun's movement is unthinkable in Japan, so keep it in mind.

　As you can see in the photo, the sky in Gumma Prefecture this morning is bright blue, and there are already signs of autumn. However, it has been extremely scorching hot every day during the daytime, so it's indispensable to hydrate before you feel thirsty. I start walking around Kuragano from 6pm when it cools down a bit. 花弁と思っていたら、実は「雄しべ」だった

　写真は連日「ねむの花」で申し訳ございません。しかし、今朝は余りにも優美に目に入ったので、思わずシャッターを切りました。誠に細く下方は白く、上の方はピンクで、しかも、拡大して見るとそれぞれの先が黄色くなってます。

　「ねむの花」について調べてみると、花びらは花の基部にあり黄緑で小さく5枚です。実は、「美しいピンクで糸状に多数伸びているのは雄しべ」とのことです。長さは3～4cmあります。この写真でははっきりしませんが、雌しべは1本、白くて雄しべより長めとのことです。また、よく観察してみます。

　右に１０個ほと固まってる蕾があり、暫くの間、咲き続けます。昨日書きましたが、この「ねむの木」は３才位の幼木なので、今後、樹木も大きくなり、毎年、入梅頃に楽しませてくれるでしょう。梅雨の時期で、人間の心は、とかく鬱陶しい日々になりがちですが、優美さでちゃんとバランスを取ってくれてます。

　ところで、今日の日の出は４時２５分(群馬県)です。実は、夏至の日より今日の日の出の方が１分早くなってます。日の入りは１９時０１分です。日の入りについては夏至の日より今月末が最も遅く１９時６分です。現在は、昼間の時間が年間で最も長い日々です。健康維持に、そして自らの目的に沿って有効に使いたいものです。

　I am sorry for taking photo of the Silk flower every day. However, this morning, it was so graceful that I couldn't help but take a picture. It is very thin, white at the bottom and pink at the top, and when I look at it closely, I can see that the tip of each petal is yellow.

　As the matter of fact, when I looked up the Silk flower, I found that the petals are small and yellow-green at the base of the flower, with five petals. In fact, the stamens are beautiful pink and extend in a thread-like pattern. They are 3 to 4 cm long. It is not clear in this photo, but the pistil is one, white, and longer than the stamens. I will look at it more closely.

　There are about 10 buds clustered together on the right, and they will continue to bloom from now on. As I wrote yesterday, this Silk tree is a young tree about 3 years old, so it will grow larger and I will be able to enjoy it every year around the start of the Japanese rainy season. During the rainy season, people's hearts tend to become depressed including me, but Silk flowers are keeping balance.

今日の太陽高度は、ついに６０°

【左は西洋シャクナゲ、右は源平枝垂れ桃】

 今日、４月5日の日の出は５時２４分【群馬県】、日の入りは１８時０９分ですから、昼の長さは１２時間４５分です。正午の太陽角度は地面に対し６０°です。因みに冬至では３０°でしたから、太陽はずいぶん高くから地上を照らすようになりました。これは地軸が北極星に向いたまま、公転面に対して約２３．４°斜めに傾いて公転してるからです。

　昨日書きましたように、現在、地球の公転上の位置は黄道十二星座の「乙女座」の東端にある一等星「スピカ」の方向に来ています。珍しいことに、今年８月１０日の夕刻、この「スピカ」が月に隠れる「スピカ食」が起こると計算されてます。月の後方にも星があり、星が隠れてますが、明るい一等星「スピカ」が隠れることが時に起こります。

　この理由は、全天で２１個ある一等星のうち「乙女座」の「スピカ」のみが黄道上にあるからです。

　ところで、前述の通り、太陽高度が高くなったことと、時々降る春雨の影響で、植物たちは生気が漲り、我が家の庭でもシャクナゲを中心に開花が進んでます。写真の西洋シャクナゲには目が奪われます。日本シャクナゲの開花は５月です。見にいらして下さい。
